EEVEE Blender 2.8 | Beginners guide | Part1 | Realism & Basic settings

Well, my question is, what's the point? I hate realistic. How do I get it to work like the old Blender renderer and NOT have to fool around with ten million little settings to make tiny differences noticeable only to realistic freaks? Is Eevee NOT intended for animations, just making fake photos? Why not just use cycles? Why did they take the old renderer away?

I'm actually looking for the opposite of this effect. I need to know how to remove the effects of the world lighting from your scene. Does anyone here know how to do that?
