Estaría dispuesto a dar 1 año de mi vida por vivir aquellos momentos con mi Padre en la playa jugando con mis primos. Pasando la tarde tomado de la mano junto ÉL, riendo, comiendo. fueron los mejores años de mi vida, nunca los olvidare. Ahora solo me queda un sentimiento de melancolía

To me, this album feels like the existential confusion the characters in The Breakfast Club were feeling in the empty halls of their high school

I don't really like the singer's voice nor the jouvenile vibes of this album, but I really like the nostalgic feeling it gives.

I used to listen to this album almost every day when i was about 17 or 18. Im 26 now revisiting it and i still know every lyric and it still makes me feel the same emotions. Grateful that amazing music like this exists

El trasfondo o mejor dicho, la historia de The Drums, me duele y muchísimo. Yo también acabo de vivir hace unos meses una experiencia muy dolorosa en vínculo a mi homosexualidad. Tuve una novia, hermosa, amable y linda, pero siempre me pidió mantenerlo en secreto. Hasta que un día, se me escapó de los labios y le conté a mi familia. Sentí el rechazo inminente, incluso quisieron cambiarme de escuela, terrible. Mi ex-novia nunca se enteró, pero cuando ella hizo lo mismo, su familia la recibió mil veces peor, tuvimos que romper. Si lees esto y te sientes agobiado por ser gay, lesbiana, bisexual, omnisexual, etc. No te averguences, ni apresures en contarselo a tu familia, ve a tu tiempo y nunca dejes de luchar por tu amor.

Mi album favorito desde el 2022, recuerdo escucharlo tirado en el suelo de mi cuarto, el la ultima casa que vivi en Honduras, en el carrizal, estaba pasando un re mal momento y escuchaba musica todo el rato para olvidarlo, amo este album, lo amo enserio me parece una locura
