All the stuff here are good, but one key thing...FS2024 micro stutters and FS2020 don't.

Both graphics look kinda similar. The main difference is 2020 works so well but 2024 is buggy, glitchy, and unstable.

Lets say you board a plane which has shiny paint and logos and stuffs. But the engine and other parts are broken. It wobbles in sky and crashes. This is what msfs 2024 actually is. So stop being foolish. 2020 is way ahead than 2024

2024 - better at night, better lights. MSFS2020 for some reason better textures inside aircraft and otuside and better and warmer colours - more believeable colours, BUT MSFS2020 0 streaming issues, 0 blurry textures and 0 CTD's so as the whole package right now at the end of 2024 MSFS2020>MSFS2024 :D
btw although the same music played for 32 minutes in the loop it was the same as annoying as beautiful and also sad :D I wonder what that track of this pianno and violin is called.

Being honest, sometimes i think 2020 looks better..

fs2024 rules just that few things here and there need to be fixed with inbuilds giving us a few awesome aircrafts out of the box we just need pmdg and ifly and inbuilds a350 to join the party and then we can roll

Comparing just the looks in the video, not the performance, 2024 has better clouds and mountains but the grass is not good and kind of purpleish world in general. 2020 was too green maybe, but I prefer that.

Aircraft lighting in 2024 is so bad. The textures of the runway and taxi lights are better in 2020. So sad since 2024 was supposed to be way better than 2020 😢

Am I alone in thinking 2024 looks better. It runs really nice for me when in flight as well but getting into the plane is the hardest part due to ctd

By using the NVidia filters I just turn down the color and enhance the blue a little and I think FS2020 looks just as good as FS2024.

I noticed you used different times of the day when comparing, with 2024 being much brighter but 2020 towards the end of the day with shadows to make it look darker and less defined. I’m still backing 2020 as better with smooth performance and all the add-ons working seamlessly and I can cope with clouds not being as realistic.

Just the first 3 min of this video clearly shows how superior Flight Sim 24 looks. We won't even talk about the clouds or night time which is even better. Those who say 2020 looks the same need to open their eyes or actually play 24.

fs2024 is the upgrade fs2020 didn´t had with streaming aircraft, better lighs, clouds and colors. Horrible performance. Hope in two years it can be as good as fs2020 currently is.

Am i the only one that will willing to buy multiple hard drives so i dont have to rely on streaming...if that was an option???

Even if MSFS 2024 looks better, I can’t run it above 30 fps on low settings, and I can run 2020 on high at 60 fps. So really, it doesn’t matter

Tbh..2020 has never run better for me on xbox x...24 has atrocious texture issues, yes it shines at times, but my god man the bugs make it a frustrating mess, probably the best thing for 2020 was this poor dlc..the less congestion on 2020 has helped enormously.

don´t see any reason to buy 24 for next one year. its really disgusting want 100-200 euros preorder for this rubbish version.

2024 looks more realistic. But some shots especially the front of the plane on the ground look cartoonish or something. 2020 looks better at those shots

I think clouds are so beutiful in msfs 2024, but 2020 also has a good feeling in almost everithing... I loke both😅

i wanted to get MSFS2024 for the campaign mode but now that i know i can download a mod for MSFS2020 that allows me to do that i'll stick with 2020 until the bugs are fixed in 2024. It was about half and half when compared to each to other that one looked better than the other game in some areas. not enough to make me want to spend $70

I do agree that in some cases, such as cliffs, mountains and some situations of atmosphere 2024 is better. ( Night lights are too bright. They dimmed them for taxiways but it should have been global) And I do love the walk about.
But I was expecting to be able to use the aprox 60 airports purchased in Marketplace and many aircraft too, and, in 80% of the cases cannot. Very dissapointed.

Some parts of 2024 looks ok but nothing over the top if that makes sense. MSFS2020 should have just kept being updated with whatever addons 2024 has and call it a day. Seems kind of a waste of peoples hard earned money even releasing 2024 honestly

The clouds look fake they lack the climate modifying large contrails and weird clouds and weather patterns that result from so much weather modification and cloud seeding!

More to a Game than just Graphics, 2024, is a total mess, and many things have fallen way way short of the mark, riddled with bugs and glitches, false promises and general money grubbing from a Game dev company who is turning a flight Sim into a Game. Good luck with all the content you purchased in 2020 working in 2024, even though they said they would. Luckily I didnt fall for their hype like many did and wont purchase until its worth the hefty price tag. For those that are turning a blind eye to all the problems of this game, well youre the reason Game Devs cook half assed games and release them in an alpha state. Enjoy.

Took a flight in 2020 today, after awhile in 2024... it holds up just fines. Performs better in VR at higher settings, looks great, got all my addons... AND no bugs like 2024.

We all had the same debate back in 2010 when FSX dropped after MFS 2004 was in already settled in our hearts for many many years.

Same comments now as then:
With addons it looks better than fsx and I can run 60fps.

I need monster pc to run fsx smoothly.

Fsx has better reflections etc etc.

Sooner or later we all switch to fs2024, and then a new one will come :)

2024 looks like an HDR video game. 2020 is a simulator.

Great comparison! Thank you. I have same CPU/GPU combination like you. Just extended my Ram from 32 to 64 GB, and i highly recommend. With 4k and your lod you will see usually 2 limitations in the dev tool: CPU and some cpu memory (RAM) issues being marked red. The 64 GB solved the last one, because Windows is not packing your 32GB full and then paging file writing (which stutters)... no it does starts paging at around 2/3 usage.... way before. It really reduced/prevented related stuttering a lot. Unless you are running out of VRAM... which you are over photogrammetry. I just want to say, get the RAM upgrade, totally worth it, especially when you do recordings, too. Thanks again! 💙
