If you still see this. I usually don't need a net over 5ft. I got a 10ft and couldn't throw it till I saw this vid. I'm 42 and been fishing all my life. Thanks man 🤘
ОтветитьGreat vid, good job 👍
ОтветитьThanks to your video, I've got bait for the US Open King Mackeral Tournament.
ОтветитьThank you so much! I couldn’t find a way to throw my 10 footer over the inside wall of my pontoon boat. This is the way!
ОтветитьSome reason it keeps tangling up and I can’t figure out why I get it sometimes and sometimes it tangles I’m not doing anything different either it’s confusint
ОтветитьYou shouldve thrown a 6fter and a 12fter just to show the difference
Ответитьthank you brother
ОтветитьHello bro you are doing a Great job Absolutely keep it up okay!❤💯
ОтветитьNo doubt this is the best way..Its the method I use. Any hooks, poisonous spiny fish, glass, etc that ya don't see in the net from ya previous throw, especially at night ,will jab ya in the hands only, not ya back, shoulder or mouth. And if ya practice, you'll find ya can throw equally well with left or right hand.
ОтветитьYour video was the best one I've seen so far because I'm left handed and I also like your technique
ОтветитьIf you get wet throwing a cast net you are doing it wrong.
Ответить2023 an im still using this method thanks bro 🤝🏾💯
Ответить12' net open on second try.....no more triple load , faster easier drier.. thanks
ОтветитьWill definitely try this style next time!
Thank you captain
🤘
ОтветитьPls advice me or can you just send me a address so I can buy it.🙏👌
ОтветитьHey there.
I zainal from Singapore.
I would like to ask you a favor.
The net that you are using now how much does it cost?
Where can I buy it.
Best cast net throwing video I’ve ever seen. Throwing pancakes non stop. Thanks Cap!
ОтветитьI gotta say I have been set on the triple load for a long time but I love how this doesn’t get you wet and honestly I think it’s more consistent pancakes
ОтветитьGreat video, thank you!
ОтветитьI just tried this method after getting soaking wet using another method. It's awesome...so quick and easy. Thanks for posting this. The first time I tried it, it worked!!
ОтветитьIt's really simple, thanks mate
ОтветитьBest method I've seen so far. Great Job!
Ответитьthanks
ОтветитьThanks brother! I am a pro now! So easy and clean!
ОтветитьThank u so much for making this video I'm bout to upgrade from a 8 foot to a 12 foot net and was already throwing kinda janky but I tried your technique with my current net and instantly saw results
ОтветитьYup, this is the most effective tip how to throw a 12 ft caste net. I really enjoyed your video and it does help me catch more baits. You really deserved a thumps up and a subscribed.
ОтветитьI just watched this video and went out and threw the net. Much better way then I was shown and easy. Pancakes 4/5 times…Thank you Capt!
Ответитьbest cast vid ive seen.
Ответитьยอดเยี่ยมครับ
ОтветитьA lot of Chinese/South East Asia are using this method, that's from what I have seen it in videos.
ОтветитьEXCELLENT I CAN FOLLOW EASY.
ОтветитьCan you be more descriptive on which direction to fold the net…are you just rolling it clockwise or pinching it? Just for viewers sake…not mine lol
ОтветитьYep, I agree- easiest method right here by Captain Cody. Quick load and ready to go
ОтветитьYou made it look dang easy !!
ОтветитьGotta tell ya...This is prolly the best video I've seen. I have yet to throw my net period. I've seen one other guy use this method but he was longwinded and overboard. You gave us the cliff notes version with plenty of demo. And btw..that last throw of the video was perfect. This will be my go to for my 8ft net. Thanks Cap Cody.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing your knowledge with this, much appreciated. BTW what kind of shoes are those? I need to get a pair thanks!
ОтветитьI’ve done this before and it’s only for small nets up to 8ft. Anything bigger then u can’t open it all the way or never pancake it as showed in your video. And “I throw net for living 10 times a day” is a joke. I throw that much in 30 mins. Commercial fishermen stay out there for half a day with heavier nets. I make nets for side job and throw nets as hobby. There are reason commercial fishermen using mouth or over shoulder techniques and if anyone call them self a captain or fishermen and throw like u then u probably get asked to go home
ОтветитьGreat instructions. I just moved up to an 8ft from a 4ft and now I can get a "perfect circle" on almost every throw. Thanks Captain.
Ответитьyour a good teacher best one i saw and will use
ОтветитьDude! I have been trying different techniques for my 8' for the last couple weeks with frustrating results. This method works for me! Thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьJust bought a 8’ betts old salt net going out tmrw for striper going to try this method thank you
ОтветитьGreat instructional video managed to learn that way to throw my 10ft cast net perfect pancake in 7 throws. Thank you👍
ОтветитьThank you.....finally a technique that actually works. Hit tip to you.
ОтветитьWhat kind of boat is that ??
ОтветитьAfter 1/3 to 1/2 of the net is collected. Are you placing an outside or inside section of the net under your thumb?
ОтветитьWell I finally realized what I was allowing to happen that was destroying the throw! When I brought the approx. 1/3 of the net over my right hand then went down to get the 2nd loop of near side net to put over I was allowing all the net in my right hand to come over or fall over the side of my hand nearest to my body!
It took this Bonzo a long time to realize why the net ended up in a clump !
I'm getting good pancakes now with the 8 ft net but it will take a lot more practice for me to be able to throw the 8 ft net or a 10ft net or bigger as effortless as you do ! Many thanks for your great video help!
This is the best method no shoulder or big mouth needed lol Never the less get just one step wrong and the net will land in a clump or not open fully - mine does both!
I know it's 95 % technique but their are good nets and and there are inferior nets just like everything else ! I cannot get the 8 ft one I have bought in New Zealand to pancake fully open no matter if I spin the net a bit more or delay release from the left hand! You don't appear to impart much if any spin and I cannot detect much delay on left hand release still you nail it everytime!
But I'm still trying to get it right lol!
Thank you!
I've watched how-to videos on cast nets for years!
Finally after watching your video a few times I can FINALLY throw a pancake!
Thank you Cody for sharing!
