This is an extremely touching moment when you recall the episode about Goblin Slayer's hang out with the other male adventurers of his generation. He may not realize it, but Goblin Slayer has been the linchpin to many stronger heroes in the story that became adventurers because GS saved them when they were children. That's what GS has been wanting ever since he realized that he can't become anything greater than someone who just wants to kill goblins. So he wants to pave the way to others becoming better adventurers than him, to tackle bigger problems than just goblins. And he finally gets to see one happen right before his eyes. It's just so heartwarming.
