You’re gonna need a bigger boat
ОтветитьOkay 👍
ОтветитьTell me who hasn’t ever acted out Quint’s scene when fishing on their local lake or pond?
You see your line getting hit…you slowly reach for the rod and reel…then BOOM! You set the hook and off you go! If you did it while eating crackers…even better!
I like how nice Quint is to Brody. It’s like he understands out here in the water is not Brody’s expertise. But Quints anger still shows when Brody doesn’t want to do something. I just love that.
Ответитьyes
ОтветитьThe little brown eel comes out of the cave... swims into the hole... comes out of the hole... goes back into the cave again
Ответить"Here lies the body of Mary Lee, who died at the age of 103. For 15 years she kept her virginity, not a bad record for this vicinity" 😂
Ответитьwhats up with the disrespectful sounds put in the movie?
ОтветитьBut first, I think I'll have a 'Gansett!!!
Ответитьwtf is up with the horrible sound over with the damn birds and annoying humming sound
Ответитьwhy are the background sounds so insanely loud? like the gulls? it's like you leveled it up.....stfu birds
ОтветитьBrody: What?!
Quint: Brody, get behind me! Hooper, full reverse!
Why is there all the time an Engine Sound und birds to hear? In the German Movie it’s more quiet
Ответить"Dammit Martin this is compressed air, you screw around with these tanks and they're gonna blow up", and all of God's children yelled "foreshadow".
ОтветитьI dont remember the part near the end where you actually see the shark. I dont remember that being in the movie
ОтветитьI recently caught a 8 foot sturgeon - my biggest and my first truly big fish and this scene was the only thing in my head.
ОтветитьWhats with the very loud seagull sounds? I dont remember it being this loud when seeing the movie so many times.
ОтветитьThe seagulls audio does not work for this scene.Nor for anything else..
ОтветитьQuint quietly preparing himself with the fishing rod is brilliant
ОтветитьI adore how proud Martin is of himself for finally getting the knot right :D
ОтветитьAs with most of the film it is Robert Shaw who steels each performance such brilliant acting his eyes tell all the emotion.
ОтветитьA bigger boat, more fire power and solid working radio that has damage warranty. He’ll they would’ve been home in a day. Regardless of my two cents the movie was phenomenal
ОтветитьFunny the shark wasn't shown before when Quint was trying to reel in a fish.
ОтветитьWTF is wrong with the audio in this clip?
ОтветитьI am aware this is pathetic for a man in his 40's, but this scene is why i STILL set my drag quite loose when I am piking. Click click click......
ОтветитьI dont remember the birds being so loud.
ОтветитьWhat’s up with the stupid added noises?
ОтветитьThe birds are awesome
Ответить👌........gracias ............
ОтветитьI’ve been looking for the jaws setup, does anybody know where I can get a penn senator 16/0 and a fenwick woodstream 130 lb class rod?
ОтветитьThis isn’t the original sound with all this seagull crap
ОтветитьI love how excited and pumped Quint is to go out fishing.
ОтветитьTell those birds to shut the F*CK up please.
ОтветитьThe hell is with all the Seagull’s?!
ОтветитьWhat’s with all the stupid seagull noises - they aren’t in the film!!!
ОтветитьThe way Quinn doesnt speak and prepares for what he knows is coming and then still keeps quiet only when he needs to say commands. Growing up we would hunt and fish, and 1st time I went saltwater fishing, we went like 6 miles offshore, and I had never been offshore per say, so we get out there and its me my cousin, dad and uncle, the boys. We get to the spot like 6 miles off the coast of Jupiter, Florida and we start to fish, I mean im young but I know how to fish in lakes an shit so whats the difference? The difference to me was we are all alone, no land in sight, just the boat you and the water. After about 5-10 mins I hear my reel click, and I dont think much of it but im more aware of it now, then I hear it a few seconds later click twice, then a few more seconds later click 3 times. At this point I understand what is happening even though I dont know what to expect being like 10 years old of what ocean fish feel like, Ive only ever caught bass and shit, but I know something in that dark blue abyss under the boat im floating in has taken my bait, and its very clear in my head I dont want to let my boys down since we are fisherman and im suppose to know how to fish. I let the 3 clicks turn into 4 clicks and then 5 clicks and then I yank a little to set the hook, and at that moment I knew I won and I just have to finish the mission, Im 10ish lol. SOOO I spend 5 mins reeling in my first fish Ive ever caught in the middle of the ocean and when I pull it out of the water EVERYONE on the boat, My cousin, uncle, and dad look over at me like i got shot, and I was calm becuase I was in an intense internal fight trying to catch this fish I felt like I just fought in a fight. But the problem to them was I wasnt saying anything or fist pumping or yelling WooHoo, I was just there with my catch in hand, and it confused them. Thats the day I learned a lot about myself lol at 10, I quickly figured out in the 10 seconds following catching that fish that people expect you to show your emotions externally so they can see how happy/sad you are so they can relate. I was the happiest Ive ever been in life but just in my own head, I did something I thought was gonna be crazy hard (Open Ocean fishing scared me at 10) so I just felt relieved and didnt express much emotion lol. And all 3 of them are very outgoing and loud and love attention so they were so fucking confused when I pulled that fish up and didnt yell Fish On right when I felt it tug, or let them know I had a fish hooked and was fighting it, or when I knew I had it and was just reeling in the last few feet, or even when I pulled it out of the water. They didnt understand the battle I went through and how much fucking joy I had fighting in my head, but also the relief and satisfaction I had when catching it because I didn't display those emotions. We still meme about that moment years later, We will be fishing and if someone gets a bite and hooks it, they will say in their most calm and low tone "fish on" to show no emotion in the statement, its fucking hilarious cuz that is how I was talking while catching my first big fish also offshore in the ocean.
Ok That essay said, thats what I love about the scene where Quinn knows whats up and starts prepping for it and no one on the boat even knows whats happening.
