Read the Bible before it is too late.
ОтветитьCan I cancel prime and still have kindle unlimited or do I need to be a prime member to have KU even though I pay separate for it?
ОтветитьPrime reading is not worth because most of volume serie books only have 2 or 3 available to read for free with this subscription.
ОтветитьKU now 11.99 month 😅
ОтветитьI used KU to find and fall in love with many of the books they have that aren't available anywhere else for free. Now that I have to pay a subscription for the same books I am sad.
Edit: I was confused and heartbroken when I saw that KU wasn't free any more because I was reading a KU book that I had a sample of. But then I found that same book on Libby. Screw you Kindle Unlimited
I got prime for schooling, video, and shipping. Never regretted. I got kindle unlimited for the books. Never regretted it. I don't even USE prime reading even though it comes with the package I got with everything else.
ОтветитьI've been enjoying Prime Reading for quite a while. This is where I'm getting my casual reading from. Outside of a few "first party" titles, most of the books I've come across are genre books, the kind of stuff you'd find at a bookstand at the airport or whatnot. Stock thrillers, romance, and scifi. Like in movies, for every Godfather is a hundred Dinner For Schmucks. It may not be filet mignon, but there's nothing wrong with eating a good burger. So when I do want something a little more substantial, I'd either subscribe to a month of Kindle Unlimited to get through as much of my reading list before the month expires or buy the book of interest. If you're not fussy or particular and can enjoy what's in front of you, Prime Reading isn't so bad. It's a solid 3/5.
ОтветитьLove your video. I always wanted to know what the difference was. Thanks.
ОтветитьI love kindle unlimited! So many good books!!
Ответить👍😍🥰📕
ОтветитьPrime reading is shit
Ответитьgood objective review...thx
ОтветитьYes, but masterpieces like "Night in Zagreb" by Adam Medvidović are always on kindle
ОтветитьYou answered all my questions!
ОтветитьI had no idea about the prime reading. Thank you for that heads up.
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьOne thing to note is that you can get quite substantial samples of Kindle books, which is generally sufficient, at least for me, to decide whether I want a book or not. The percentage of good books compared to what is out there is quite low, so am quite prepared to buy when I find one. Although occasionally Kindle Unlimited does have a book I want to read, most often it seems like just a dustbin for sub standard writing. As to Prime, I am subscribed to that for other reasons, so the books are a minor bonus.
ОтветитьPeople, use your head and use your library.
ОтветитьA clear expanation of the two services, thank you. But no mention of audio books, are they included in KU?
ОтветитьYou guys sleeping? Kindle just brought out a scribe today!!!
ОтветитьTwo words: "Library Genesis" 😀
ОтветитьKindle Unlimited. Calibre. DeDRM Calibre plug-in. 😉
ОтветитьSo kindle unlimited is like a system where you borrow books and if you like them you can buy them for like £3, if you don’t like them you can send them back and get a different one,
You don’t have to pay for the book itself unless you really love it and want it, you get the whole book on unlimited?
Unfortunately for me I can't sign up for Kindle Unlimited 😥
Ответить4 of the big 5 publishers are in KU, not 2 as described. Only PRH are not in KU today.
ОтветитьIt seems like very few of the books I want to read are available with either service.
ОтветитьWow I have both!!
ОтветитьGreat video Faiz!!
ОтветитьI definitely prefer Kindle Unlimited over Prime Reading
ОтветитьI’m still on the free trial of Kindle Unlimited that came with my Paperwhite Signature Edition. I’ve been using it to read some classics that have interested me for a long time, but other than that I haven’t found much that would encourage me to continue paying for it after the free trial expires. But it sounds like you’re saying a lot of popular new releases are available on KU, right? That may be a good reason to keep it and get into reading newer stuff.
