In a letter, Hindley described Winnie Johnson (mother of Keith) as “a hypocritical old bag” who needed “a brain implant”. This while she (Hindley) was trying to show how “reformed” she was, so she could get out of jail. I think Hindley was one of the most revolting creatures to ever walk the earth, and it’s a great pity that she and Brady escaped the death penalty.

I think the thing that bothers me more than anything with cases like this, is I never truly feel that justice has or ever will be served. Keith’s poor mum had to die never at peace, truly knowing where her son was and all those children only knew pain, suffering and horror in their last moments on earth and yet Myra and Brady both got to just die in prison of normal illnesses, that regular people die of all the time.

I just wish both of them could feel the exact pain that they inflicted upon those children… but they’ll never get to. And even if they had of been subjected to such horrors themselves, they still probably wouldn’t have ever felt any remorse or empathy for what they’d done because if they could feel such emotions they wouldn’t have been capable of such a crime in the first place… It’s the cruelest injustice of life if you ask me, that some people are just born with those parts of their brain missing. The ability to empathise, to feel guilt and remorse, compassion and those people end up affecting so many lives of people who feel all those things so deeply and as a result leave them with long life trauma and torment. Without even being someone myself who is close to the case or someone that has been directly affected by it, that haunts me and always will… So I can’t even bare to imagine what the families have gone through💔

My late Mrs who was a true psychic totally freaked out on the M62 eastbound and pointed to a spot through floods of tears. She said she experienced a little boy who couldn't see but he wasn't blind. This was at the point when mobile internet was just emerging. She had no idea who Keith Bennet was but when we pulled in Hartshead Moor Services and got an image on my phone she said "OMG that's him!". We told GMP of the exact spot but they ignored it. Yeah it's said psychics are false but as sceptical as I was she was never wrong. The police were always looking in the wrong place.

But it had been 50 years, now 60, since Keith was murdered and buried. There can't be any remains left anymore. Especially as the body wasn't treated in any way nor buried in a coffin. Unfortunately those moors will forever be his grave. At this point the best that could be done for him would be to create and put up a large, nice memorial monumentti somewhere on the moors, dedicated just to him. So large and strong that no man or storm wind can bring it down or significantly damage it beyond normal wear of time. And I think it should be paid for by the state. Because it was their job to find his remain and they were unable to, they should do the next best thing and provide a proper grave site for him. Even if the exact correctly spot can never be known.

If it was up to me, people like these would not get a funeral. They wouldn't even be buried. They don't deserve that kind of dignity and religious ritual. Their bodies would be left in a wilderness for wild animals to feed on. That way their existance would have done at least some good in the world, even if not for humanity.

You kind of get the feeling there is some underhanded stuff happening with the law itself here when you watch what is going on. The suit cases? What were they eventually intended for? Snuff movies and pornography for a high price sold on to rich folks? I’m not a conspiracy theorist but the there is something not right with what happened here. The grilling of the parents and blaming the step father well beyond what was evident at the time. All he ever did was love his family. Something wrong with British law and justice.

The plan to being her in a different route affected her bearings from them on, it was unfixable and whoever was responsible should have been fired. It was a tragedy Ms Bennet couldn't have had the acceptance that Ms McBride had. Everyone grieves differently, I just can't help feeling that of the ones who were found, it would have been a mercy if Keith had.

This for me is the most chilling horrific case in british history.
It is strange, dark & extremely haunting, which makes it, well, very sad, but yet sadly interesting.
A time when the world was a little strange & very different.
At a time when things were settling only 20 years after the war.

It is the time when it happened, and the cold dark places where these children were led to their graves.
Its incredible and unimaginative just how wicked and depraved these two were.
Heartbreaking. It upsets me, the vivid details of little leslie ann really pulls my heart.

Myra hindley was pure evil and could have stopped those poor families going through anymore heartache if she had told the truth and didn’t wait 20 years before saying anything. That poor little girl crying for her mommy. Thank god the police were told by David smith what happened because it would have carried on. Vile evil arrogant selfish narcissistic cretins.

the tragic story of Myra Hindley? The only tragic thing here are the children who never got to grow up, their parents who live with the loss for the rest of their lives. Myra was not tragic, she was a very evil piece of human trash. Likewise Ian. Forget these bad ones called people and remember the victims instead

What is disturbing is that in her younger years Myra could have been anyone living a normal life if she had not met Ian. He really set fire to the evil within her, which I don't think would have happened if she had not met him. Which is more worrying, how evil are regular people in certain circumstances? We are of a very cruel and brutal race, a flip side to our charitable good side. That's terrifying.
