I guess they decided to do away with the Eye-Hand in the MP2 release.

People make fun of those eyes being on dark Samus but it’s her first form give that female a break

I know for a fact I 100% Metroid prime and just don’t remember this at all. Is it like a post credit thing?

The way the hand comes out of the residual phazon gives me Resident Evil vibes.

I love how the puddle looks exactly like the small clump of Phazon Corruption growing inside Samus in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.

Well hope they Remaster Echoes and Corruption someday.

A shame the remaster cut out the eye zooming in part and made the camera go closer

For those of you that do not know. After defeating Metroid Prime, she tries to grab Samus as a last ditch effort to take her with her. Metroid Prime essentially rips the Phazon Suit out of Samus. She resembles Samus because of the combination of the suit, her essence and the fact that Samus's DNA was on the suit. Giving birth to Dark Samus.

I beat the game last week and already forgot the ending 😂 Thanks.

Won't lie...the first time I completed this 100% and got this extra scene, it was a bit freaky. One of those things you continue to see in your mind long after the game was over and then wonder what the hell was gonna happen next.

And, same with all the other Resident Evil references.

When I saw this scene 23 years ago I lost my mind as a kid

The way I see it is, Dark Samus had time to mature like a Metroid and we get her fully matured and final design in MP2.
