5 yrs ago, my computer came with 32 bit processor, and I thought is was ok, now I realize how trash it is since lots of games now days requires 64 bit

How do I convert files that were created 32 bits to 64 bits? files are .cdg karaoke graphic files.. 

the background noise is annoying.. it's pretty loud..

I'm trying to replace my 32 bit operating system with a 64 bit OS.  My CPU supports 64 bit and I have 8gb of ram, but yet I can only use 3.25gb of ram.  I'm so pissed as I'm trying to run Pro Tools as smooth as possible.

You said that in terms of speed , the 64bit is much faster because it stores more date in the ram . Unlike the 32bit which repeat the same process over and over again because of limited space ( correct me if I'm wrong). MY questions is ,the data is it stored in the ram it self ?!!! or inside special place in the ram ?!!!!!! I'm just a bit confused ... and the thanks for the great explanation ..

It won't be as fast.

Right click on "My Computer." If it says you have a 64bit processor and 64 bit windows, then you just need to find out if you can get the right size ram for it.

I have a 32 bit system, but I'm considering going 64 bit. I have 4gigs Ram (2.97 usable) and an Intel Celeron D processor (I think celeron supports both 32 & 64 bit..., please correct me if I am wrong). Are these requirements acceptable for upgrading to 64-bit?
