Hi Tony, thanks for the video. Sorry if I've missed it but in this test were you serving only static pages? If so, wouldn't it have been better to serve dynamic content (perhaps data pulled from the MySQL database)? Thanks again
ОтветитьSo would Apache or Nginx perform better on a WordPress website with lots of dynamic content if it had lots of simultaneous users?
ОтветитьYou have a lot of videos. It seems like practically every time I search for something relating to working on my website, your videos pop up. Thanks man. Great Videos!
ОтветитьStraight to the point, I like it!
Ответитьnginx is faster than apache x2.5
Ответитьmacs are big dumb
ОтветитьTanks Tony
ОтветитьThe main differences are Nginx can handle a more concurrent user; you should measure this.
Ответитьwhats this comparison? Of course Nginx is faster. Do you really need to test this?
Ответитьsince Nginx doesn’t support PHP I bet you are essentially testing php-fpm vs apache
ОтветитьTo the point but slightly vague. Apache leverages per site config and dynamic module loading plus file system access while Nginx has to pre-loaded with modules. So if it's just a static HTML page you are serving, the test becomes pointless because it's not leveraging the best abilities provided by two.
Ответитьfor python apache is winner due to mod wsgi
ОтветитьSuperb content, thanks!
ОтветитьNo muss, no fuss. Like it!
ОтветитьSo why is Nginx faster than Apache?
ОтветитьNo theory drama, To the point. Thank you so much! You got my sub.
ОтветитьInclude LiteSpeed servers in your next testing video!
ОтветитьUnless you are running a high traffic server, the speed difference between the two is irrelevant. The small differences here are not noticable by a human or affect other requests until you get into hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of requests per minute.
