Just got to the hospital section in the remake. Loving it all so far. It's such a love letter to the original while also making it their own. Massive props to the actors and the entire studio! Your hard work and passion shows ❤️

This is hard work, as filmmaker since 2012 and gamer since 1995, and playing the original game in 2001 =, I am giving thanks to all actors and the game team, also the Studio ... and I wish I can be a art director for a game one day...... take care all

Why do they all look so smiliar to the actual charadcters in the game? I mean not fully like them, but they all have a VERY similiar apperance.

Bloober Team cooked a great Remake.

however says that this Remake is "soulless and bad" really has no taste and let's nostalgia invade their brain, I played the OG and enjoyed it, and now I am playing this Remake and I love it even more.

Finished it yesterday never played the original or any silent hill game for that matter and i have to say bloober team did an amazing job my only gripe is performance on pc UE5 is a really bad engine tbh my system specs should be able to handle this pretty comfortably but occasional stutters were distracting.

I’m at the Lakeview Hotel part and I honestly cannot believe how incredible this remake is! It’s everything I could have ever wanted for a SH2 remake. There are couple of nitpicky stuff that I wish was more like the original, but put all the new stuff they added and this is the definitive version of SH2!

Take a notes! This is how to remake the original, not a "fanfiction" with lots of personal touch that made the original become a caricature and unrecognizable anymore.

I completed this game a couple of nights ago and I miss it already. It's a great game that could have been perfect. The voice acting in this game was fantastic.

This game is something else. I had to take a break midway on my second playthrough... it got to this point where i felt it was so oppressive. Such a fantastic effort made by Bloober

I didn't know that Silent Hill 2 was inspired by Dostoevsky's "Crime and Punishment". That's actually explains a lot.
Now it is clear where the inspiration came from for creating such a complex psychological portrait of a person and its further analysis.

Most people don't realize how important and admirable hearing that is these days. In the era we live in where we have so many reboots and remakes that don't care about the source material, and are only using these IP's to milk the name of the franchise, it's nice to hear. Reminds me of Peter Jackson's quote about Lord of The Rings. Something along the lines of "we don't have any interest of putting ourselves and our ideas in these movies, we want to put Tolkiens ideas in them".
