I Tried Making a Beat in LMMS !

i use vsts and soundfonts with it and its pretty nice

Great stuff. What I really need is a video on how and why to choose chords :)

I used it before FL Studio and it was a good start because it operates kinda like FL

Have you used this software since this video? I wish you would make a playlist like your "making a beat" playlist but using lmms. I can't find any lmms tutorials that I like yet.

LMMS is actually incredible, but there is a steep learning curve. For ACTUAL free software(not a trial or limited version) it makes music production very accessible for anyone.

People think LMMS is garbage because, they don't have any patience when making a beat there or because it's free

You can add a beat/baseline track instead of a piano roll track for the drums

Imms doesn’t require you to do anything but download for free. I personally think this is the best alternative from fl studio if you don’t like buying stuff for such music softwares.

I really like LMMS mostly because I like free software, but updates are far between and there is some issues and essential features missing still. If you dont want to mess with effect chain just use the instruments from ZynAddSubFX, they sound better off the bat than the others.

Dude I use LMMS for almost a year now and you already made a better beat than I ever did. Bravo!

If you check out a channel called LMMS Opus you'll see what can be done with this DAW that I also use
