Using the iPhone X in 2024 - worth it?

XS is more worth it than the X

Got an iPhone X today it’s battery health is at 100 and it’s battery is amazing!

This phone doesn’t support 5G so that is something to consider if you thinking of getting this phone.

I don’t see why the 11 would get iOS 18 but not the XR, they have the same chip

I’m obsessed with that camera layout I hope if the next se model comes out it gets that cam layout

Still using my X to this today. Maybe it is time to upgrade

I feel like the iPhone X had much bigger cultural impact than any other (recent) iPhone. I was not an iPhone user until recently yet I still distinctly remember reading and watching videos about the iPhone X.

If I my battery didn't keep going down even after changing it I would keep it just for 3d touch

Been using my iPhone X for nearly 5 years now and still on the original battery. No other iPhone has lasted me this long, the performance is still quick as well.

Still using it till this day though the heat is crazy.

My X is at 84%, still use it every day, works just like a new one. Real shame to be losing software support on a £1000 device after just 6 years, ridiculous. For this reason I'll never be spending so much money on a phone ever again.

Yea video looked like was serious for about 35s, untill "nothed display" was mentions as a positive. Nobody who ever seen a display looked at that thing and went "this look nice, but I wish there was a cut-out on top"... NOBODY EVER. that cancer is still there because people got used to it, just like dumb animals are obeying rules made up by humans, like dog walking themselves with a leash.

I miss my iPhone X. Had if for 5 years. Apple gave me a free battery a couple years ago. But last year, I did feel it was getting a bit slow and I wanted to try a bigger screen. I got the 14 Pro Max and other than battery life and the display, it was a pretty bad experience. I had many issues with it and it wasn’t long before I regretted having such a bigger and heavier phone. I made it through the year and jumped on the 15 Pro this year. Already the experience is so much better than the 14 and I looked up the dimensions and weight and it is similar to the X. I feel like I’m back to having a good iPhone experience and hope that this one will be my new favorite iPhone 5 years from now

I went from day 1 iPhone X directly to day 1 iPhone 15. It had 73% of the original battery. It got really bad at the end but I’m happy I was able to have one phone for 6 years. The iPhone 15 is every upgrade I wanted over the X. I wonder how long I can do with this one.

I still use my Iphone X but the battery is around 2.5 hours of use now. I was hoping on using it atleast one more year but I'm not excited about security issues.

I still use my iPhone X, everything about it is just gorgeous but only the battery is my main concern (72%). Planning on 15 Plus but the refresh rate is a bummer, maybe next year we get 90Hz for base iPhone

I am currently still using an Xs and it still feels solid. Im upgrading to the 15 plus soon though but will definitely be keeping my Xs as a backup.

I got an iPhone 8 instead of the X back when it came out. I’m at a loss for what to do after this phone breathes its last breath, since I absolutely despise the thought of not having a home button. I don’t want to have to be swiping all over my phone to do so much of what I can easily do with different numbers of taps of the home button. I’ll also miss 3D Touch.

2017 still feels recent to me…

6 years and it still remembers my face. Upgrading to the latest would be worth it. But definitely I will not get the feelings and excitement I had when upgraded to X ❤.

I actually prefer the look of the X and XS too, i dont like the triple camera, or the centered apple logo at all.

Before getting the 15 I was on an XS with iOS 15, it was completely fine, except the battery and charge port failing

I have an iPhone XS and I will stay on 16.1, this is the most fluid version for me, and it has benchmarks that proves this, if the iOS 17 score better than 16.1 I will upgrade, but honestly I think they will let my phone slower.

This is NOT a 10-year old phone. I don't know why you keep mentioning and implying that. This is a 6-year old phone and yes, phones from other makers from 2017 are still fast and fluid to this date.

I have a Xs max and I’m getting the 15 pro max, supposed to arrive today actually.

The battery health is 75%. I work 12hr graveyard shifts and I’m a heavy user.

I had a baby last year, I really want the better cameras.

My 256GB capacity is pretty much full. Need to upgrade storage.

So It’s time.

I also didn’t know the X lost ios upgrade support. That kind of shocked me.

I’m still using this phone today. Feels as snappy as the day I bought it and have no desire to get a new phone. I’m going to use this phone until the day Apple stops releasing security updates for it.
