iOS 11 Beta 1 - A Week Later (Follow-Up Review)

How has your experience with iOS 11 beta 1 been?

The 2nd beta will most likely drop next week when the public beta drops. Hopefully this kills some of the bugs from beta 1!

Who else had problems downloading free apps?

I have a downloading issue from the App Store

Surprisingly I have experienced almost no bugs and no lag on my iPhone 5s

Use an iPhone 6s as my daily driver phone and I upgraded to iOS 11 on June 3rd

Mine went perfectly

My problem is that the music player stays on the lock screen and it does still but I’m guessing that one of the lag issue it has to I tend to ignore it and leave it be..other then that it’s been okay no issues so far and I have the iPhone 7

The Disneyland App isn’t working on iOS 11 it crashes on launch

The battery life on iOS 11 Beta 1 is absolutely horrible for me

No issues at all very smooth for me

That shiit fuck up my 6s battery

I got a boot loop on my daily driver & I had to go to the Apple Store to remove the beta /:

I noticed a lot of the same issues as you out of the gate on my iPhone 7+ but did a fresh install and ran a lot smoother

my battery life been horrible other then that its been running okay no reboot just bad battery

What about replying in messages in lock screen?

my music app won’t even play my music it doesn’t give the option to press play

My battery life has been cut in half since I started running iOS 11

It'a called a BETA software for a reason.  Expect it to have multiple issues.

what do you guys mean by save 10.3.1 shsh blobs?

I can't charge it I don't know why with iOS 11 now my battery is 10%

I noticed the bluetooth toggle in the control center doesn't work. I have to go into settings every time I want to use my AirPods

If you didn’t already download it I feel you should wait until the second beta hopefully some of the problems are fixed. My battery’s been draining fast af I’ll be playing 2k for about an hour next thing I know I gotta change my phone again lol

I’m having bad problems and it’s pissing me off

With the iPhone 5s on IOS 11 I can actually say that it is surprisingly stable. Bugs ect here and there but overall it’s working fine with no boot loops or crashes

On iPhone 6. Experienced MAJOR battery drainage. Watched a 10 min YT video and lost 30%. Was so bad that I had to downgrade

my test run has been fine nothing major...

camera goes black in a lot of different apps. and to be fair i disagree something with the battery is going wrong my phones constantly on lowbattery

I have iOS 11 on my iPhone 5s daily driver and while there are a multitude of bugs, and I mean a lot, it has been a fairly smooth experience other than occasional freezes in notification and Control Center.

Hey Brandon do you think pangu will even release a jailbreak for iOS 10.3.1 with iOS 11 being a big update with a ton of changes. Was thinking they may hold off and go after iOS 11 would make more sense to me.

I have it on my iPhone 6. I hate it right now for its performance. Its just so ugly everywhere I've used my phone and I'm planning on restoring back to iOS 10 after i do a review on my other channel. Don't get me wrong, I love the features and I'm really excited, but with how glitchy its been I'm planning on going back this week. Hopefully it gets better in the next dev beta or the first public beta

Haven't had any boot loops at all. A few iMessage issues and some third party apps not able to work and the Bluetooth toggle not working correctly. Was smooth fast and battery life isn't the greatest but I'm a heavy user

i jail broke my i phone 6s on ios 10.1.1 with yalu and after a week the jailbreak needs to be re installed now i no longer want the jail break so i tried to update my phone to the next ios but it keeps saying " software update failed" i tried completely reseting my phone to factory settings and then backed it up with i cloud but cydia is still there and i cant update my phone does anyone know how i can remove my jailbreak? ps cydia is not working anymore

I have an iPad mini 2 and I recently updated to iOS 11 and it is so laggy and buggy on an iPad mini 😒😒😒

Had it on my daily driver, a 7 plus, since day one and other than stutters and occasional lag, I’ve had no issues. Battery life could be better but it isn’t really too bad; I’m looking forward to beta 2.

Been using this on my daily driver 6S+, I've had some occasional UI glitchiness & ugliness happening, instagram & twitter have closed randomly a couple of times, but other than that not too bad. Not worth the upgrade yet IMO.
