I know Apple are going to make a buttload of money with the deal but i gotta say shout out to them to working together with other companies for Qi2. Magsafe is the coolest thing they've done in years and ive had it on my android phones for years now. Cant wait to see it built in
ОтветитьIt’s pronounced “Chee”?? Wtf lol
ОтветитьI don’t care about the 15pm was thinking the 14pro max so now I think I’m the 14pro max but what is the issue with the
ОтветитьIt’s not the same. iPhone won’t remember Qi2 charger. But iPhone will show the last Standby mode configuration once you put on the MagSafe charger.
Ответить40w+ Qi chargers have existed for many years now, so explaining Qi2 as a 15w Qi charger makes no sense. There must be something more to the new standard.
Ответитьi would rather use made for apple iphone chargers like the belkin 3 in 1 charger and new mag-safe products.
ОтветитьWTF WITH THIS INDUSTRY??? we need charing that goes fast, 30 mins max charging to a full 100%. we also need unbreakable screens, so we can rock our phones without these stupid cases that hide the phone´s design beauty. that technology from motorola, shatter shield, what happened to it??? also, bring back the darn p2 ports, or place two usb c ports in the midle so we can charge the stupid phones and also use wired headphones. blueooth headphones are always having paring problems and drain the batteries faster. so give us the wired option then. and please, engineers, use your brains to develop thinner batteries that will hold high charges that will make the darn phones last at least 2 days at least!!! IS ALL THIS TOO MUCH TO ASK??? PUT YOUR TIKTOKS DOWN AND START USING YOUR BRAINS!!!
ОтветитьHi AI, I am considering buying the Anker Qi2 3 in 1 foldable charger to use with my Apple iPhone 12 Pro max with a compatible Magsafe case. Would this combination work OK do you think, or would you even advice it? many thanks. Terry Davis
ОтветитьSome Android phones support 50w or more wireless charging. Apple is behind for a flagship device and need catching up
ОтветитьMagsafe is one of the very few apple phone "things" that is actually good and "worth it" to use the apple phones over Galaxy's.
Ответитьim hoping more devices both the charger end and the phone end uses more vapor cooling tech! just like ping matters more then raw internet speeds I think sticking to that 15 watts the whole time matters more then if it started at 30 then a few mins have to cut down to 7 because it over heated! I much rather have an average charge time but stays cool rather then super fast charging that can warm the house!
ОтветитьThis week in new iOS release the Qi2 compatibility is backported to iphone 13 and 14
ОтветитьApple must rather focus on desirable features like: easy screen and camera repairability. Iphones have gotten so good that gimmicky features like Wireless charging or action button are nothing more than unnecessary gimmicks.
Wireless charging accessories cost more, charge slower than its wired counterpart. That makes for a rather poor value proposition, IMHO.😂
Does Qi2 have an NFC chip in it?
ОтветитьI'm still curious about what Apple is going to do to replace it's MagSafe battery pack now that they've discontinued it. You can't buy them from Apple and all the major retailers are sold out. I had to search high and low online before I finally found one.😢
ОтветитьThis guys just say ..... PAY APPLE TAX...
ОтветитьI have the Google Pixel 7 and I have a normal 15w Qi charger on my motorbike. without any magnet, it's charging on 15w, it's so fast that sometimes it's faster than my USB C cable at home... why are we talking about craps ?? the Qi2 will only give the magnet option, it's all.
ОтветитьMagSafe 100%
ОтветитьQi1 in my Tacoma will not work on my 15 max at all.
ОтветитьThe Apple Watch charging to MagSafe/Qi 2 like lightning to USB-C.
Ответить8 minute video for this? Time waster video
ОтветитьQi2 makes most sense for in vehicles and when built into flat or vertical surfaces such as lamp stands and table surfaces, where the central location isn't as obvious as it is with dedicated wireless chargers. Qi1 works fine in homes. But I guess Qi2 is rumoured to be faster, i.e. 15W rather than 7.5W. But the magnets themselves are mostly useful in the aforementioned categories, for vehicle dashboards etc.
ОтветитьWhy is it OK for companies to regulate their products and services but the government can’t regulate the companies? I swear to God capitalism is such utter garbage. It’s such repulsive garbage.
ОтветитьIs nomad MagSafe base 1 chargers. Official Apple certified ?
ОтветитьHow do you get the big lightning logo on your iphone? Thank you!
ОтветитьI ended up buying the anker one that actually plug into the bottom of the phone, I’ve been using MagSafe since it launched. Plugging directly in will just be faster.
ОтветитьI’ll stick to MagSafe
ОтветитьNonsense apple sheep propaganda. The actual difference will be you're paying more for the identical apple brand and nothing else, as always.
ОтветитьHaven’t heard anyone be this big of an Apple fanboi in some time
ОтветитьThe "Magsafe will have better quality than Qi2" argument is quite bogus, let's be honest.. official Apple product will have good quality, but the same can be said about any big manufacturer.. Qi2, being a new standard for everyone, will have a massive amount of choices. Sure, many will be low-end to be cheaper, but they'll obvously have high-end too which are more expensive. You really think big companies like Google and Samsung will have worse quality than Apple?
ОтветитьSucks Apple still makes the Apple Watch not work with regular wireless chargers
ОтветитьMy problem with Qi charging is that I have to remove my case from the phone to use it! Maybe the Anker charging base is inadequate to the task, or the fact that my case is equipped with a metal plate for magnetic mounting in my car. Either way, the inconvenience of the Qi charger is just not worth the hassle. Charging via cable works great, and I don't need to remove my phone's case to use it. A lot of folks don't use a case with their phones, but the iPhone is so slippery I would not use it without a case.
ОтветитьPLEASE HELP: I HAVE THE OLD MAGSAFE CHARGER, SHOULD I BUT THE NEW USB-C MAGSAFE CHARGER IN ORDER FOR THE IPHONE 15 PRO MAX TO CHARGE FASTER?
ОтветитьThank you for the clarification. I thought magsafe had qi1 or q2 technology
ОтветитьThanks for the info
Ответитьhelped a lot choosing my new charger. Thanks mate
ОтветитьApple always behind everyone else.
ОтветитьWhat happens if you use MagSafe charging at same time as plugged in to usb c port?
ОтветитьWhat’s that charger?
ОтветитьKinda hilariously sad that MagSafe duo just got completely axed rather than updated
ОтветитьI'll stay with Apple products, the extra cost is not an issue for me and I want the best products available.
ОтветитьThe question is: will MagSafe chargers produced now or in the near future charge Android devices with 15W because of Qi2 or will MagSafe chargers still be Qi1 and MagSafe?
ОтветитьDoes the new iPhone 15 support Qi2 ?
ОтветитьIt’s really embarrassing that we’re stuck at 15 W maximum wireless power in late 2023. How is this even acceptable? I would’ve thought we’d be at 45 - 60W wireless by now. I guess USB-C is still more relevant than ever.
ОтветитьApple won’t use leather anymore
ОтветитьMagSafe is nothing more than Apple certified Qi2. It doesn’t make MagSafe more premium or high end like the video suggests. It’s just apple packages and prices its own products very high. Whether Qi2 products are high end depends solely on the manufacturer and has nothing to do with the technology. The suggestion in the video that if you want luxury you should stick with MagSafe is rubbish.
ОтветитьWell it seems it didn't? Apple's website states Qi charging up to 7.5w and MagSafe up to 15w, same as always...
ОтветитьThanks for the informative video! I’d stick with MagSafe I think!
