Sir I have a good question. Perhaps its bit out of context .Even am interested in the field of management accounting financial management statistics and thinking of CMA usa. Post CMA qualification thinking of starting own business venture ( preferably 5 star hotel) and become finance director of it. Will CMA usa qualification guarantee in achieving the same provided if I have good knowledge in cost accounting financial management statistics probability etc.?
Sorry what I meant was can cpa CMA qualification with good financial modeling and solid business plans attract the investors to invest on big business even if I don't have money of my own?

Hi Nathan i Indian and in India bachelor degree are normally 3 year in duration along with 6 semester expect engineering which has 4 year
So for cpa us 150 credit score neede d but duo to having 3 year course we end up having only 90 credit score so what should I do now to take cpa us exam please answer me

I'd say the US CPA is one of the most prestigious degrees one can pursue. It's the ultimate accounting(financial) degree, period. Even here in India, having a US CPA almost guarantees a job in the big 4.

Bsma can be a CPA? Or there's a need to shift course?

I'm not from Commerce background but I did MBA in 2012 followed by around 5 years of experience in secondary market research/consulting research. However, since 2016 September, I have been on a parenting break with 1 yr of BABI course from Great Learning in between 2019-'20. We just moved to the States (California) in June 2022.

This might sound really mean, but The CMA sounds much more interesting and fulfilling. Taxes, auditing and regulation are very important, but sound boring as hell. Going through and checking to see if the financial statements are accurate as a career? Although extremely important, sounds so boring and unfulfilling. With the CMA, you’re helping make strategic decisions for the company to help them grow and improve. That personally sounds much more fulfilling.

I have not received the cheat sheet yet. Followed all the steps.

My question is which one is less stressful, and have more work/life balance and more free time, and where I can work remote? I know I wanna do private accounting regardless seems less hectic and less stressful less tight deadlines but I am curious.

And also I heard cpa gives you a chance to start your business more. Can you still do this with a CMA if you decide to do that in the future? I guess I'm looking for more freedom and options to call shots on things for myself and not having to rely on one place per say. I've already graduated and I know I enjoyed cost accounting more than any other of the accounting clases.

CPA here. While I think the CMA/CGMA route is more appropriate content-wise for accountants who plan to go into industry than a CPA, employers overwhelmingly favor a candidate with a CPA over every other credential, including an MBA. I dont think you can go wrong with a CMA but know that a CPA will have an edge over you in the job market.
