Consequences for Stealth vs Guns Blazing in Cyberpunk 2077

Thanks to you i choose to kill all of them in stealth mode and during the journey panam was calmly opening the radio. She tries to find a good music but no fails. After the fourth try she closes the radio :D. I find it quite funny.

I snipe people from miles away, but if they find the body it immediately says I was detected. It's ruined so many stealth missions for me

Fun fact, I did the minefield mission without reading anything and never realized the land had mine on it, never hit one

Gunsblazing is the best stealth if none of the enemies survives

I love it when NPC's get on their high horses after i went in guns blazing. Like you weren't the one going out of his way to kill/raep/abuse someone but i'm the bad one in all of this. Look i'm not saying my V is some Saint but the Justice system in NC is horrible and any decently well connected/off Criminal walks out of the Station with an Apology from the Officers who were handling the "case" in 5 mins top. So unless you wanna let someone like the Pedo Father & Son just walk because "KiLlInG bAd" and "We'D bE jUsT aS bAd As tHeM" ending them is the way with the least Future harm to Civilians. You don't have to be some raging Maniac to think that less of them is a good Thing even if it happens through murder. NC is so fucked there's basically no other way anymore.

Probably known but you can sneak into the Raffen Shiv camp to rescue Saul through the same drain you escape from, finish the mission in 1 minute lol

The Panam mission to save Saul, first time I did it, I stumbled into the drain pipe to the right of the compound and found out you could just go straight to saul through it if you have high enough tech skill progression. The stealthiest option. Nobody dies, and the whole mission takes all of about 2 minutes to sneak in and back out through the pipe. lol.

My wife was wondering why I was laughing like a maniac one time…I told her it was the absurdity of me walking into that nightclub gig, depositing my weapons, walking into the server room, downloading the quick hack and just walking my way out again lol

In my later playthhroughs it depends on the faction whether I netblaze them thru cameras or not. It's a glorious sight imo watching the baddies melt under contagion or blackwall.

I’m doing a Solid Snake build where only neutralize enemies non-lethally. I use the Pax mod on all my weapons, and never leave stealth. It’s pretty funny in dialogue sometimes because the characters act like I’m a stone cold killer anyways. And V can seem guilty for all the people they’ve killed when in game you’ve killed nobody.

I try stealth, if I can’t find a way to stealth, everyone in a 20 mile radius is dead.

I just went from the streets to level 50 ninja samurai, cut off thousands of limbs and rode off into the desert with panam with a clean conscience 😂

I always go back to a gigs location after ghosting through it, then I go guns blazing. Best of both worlds

I just punch everyone and everything until the objective is complete.

I just always do guns or fists blazing I love being an absolute juggernaut punching my enemies out of existence.

The mech wasn't that tanky on normal, I just shot it's guns which exploded taking half it's health with it. It's like a 30sec fight.

I think I'd rather keep going in guns blazing for the extra xp & eddies.

It almost begs to question have you actually played the game. These bosses drop unique weapons that until Phantom Liberty you couldn't get otherwise. Sure on a seperate playthrough stealth over guns for all is really more fun and challenging. With Phantom Liberty though you can literally just kill everything and not miss any unique weapon.

However I understand playstyles are subjective.

I always tried to complete stuff stealthily but most of the time get found, literally during the rising storm quest I went through the compound with killing and hiding people’s bodies and some how they found a corpse, I tried to sandy my way through the upper connector to the garage but apparently the sniper had razor sharp optics

Playing stealthy is healthy 🤷‍♂️

getting to sol stealthily without killing anyone also results in a different dialogue where sol says we are badass

I never pick stealth options because stealth = less meat to grind

How in the world were you able to get all those tech specs so fast before doing objectives? Like did you just build up XP doing all the random small stuff around town first?

I went for a bit of a mix... depending on the mission... I am pretty shit at stealth but I think in the early stages when you have no upgrades it kinda forces you into that. I like that they have included multiple routes you can try though.

You can save Saul without taking out anyone. Just go through tunnel and you avoid everyone.

I'm in my first playthrough and I'm completely floored at how you are able to just one shot people quietly with a knife and be all ninja like. I tried that approach and every time I'd try to kill someone from a distance whatever I did to them would just bounce off their head with a bit of damage and then alert everyone. It's possible this is because I don't think I encountered a decent knife until midgame? I'm level 40 with 50 street cred and I STILL can't mop up with guns like you can. Do you have a video on your build and equipment? I'd like to try a pure stealth approach on my next playthrough, as I just got so frustrated with it that I ended up taking perks to run and gun,

About 1500 hours into the game and still this video shows quite a few scenes I've never seen before. Great vid, absolutely amazing game.

I like to play the game with 5++ Guts, Apogee, and Axolotl. Get the obliteration and adrenaline trees maxed out and then activate, walk up point blank and blow them away. Its fun when the sandevistan comes to an end and you get to watch their giblets and mangled bodies all hit the ground at once.

I started a blind playthrough in this game on very hard and I feel like it's the only way to experience being from an experienced merc to fully cyberdecked and chromed out counterintelligence agent, high level Badlands member or notorious street kid. Needless to say there are some fights that I made a lot harder than I had to. But with stealth it just gives that feeling of "in and out" and there like they never were, especially for someone like V. Glad the game highlighted a lore accurate protagonist that's supposedly a living legend

I started stealth but then things got too time wasting or tedious that i cut the bullshit and just went guns blazing with Rebeccas shotgun lol

My V was basically a sandevistan, katana wielding murder machine. Didnt often leave survivors, never needed to as i'd slay small armies with relative ease.

Felt great.

I do a mix of both.
Weaknening enemies, if that fails, I go full-on Adam-mode.

This game is a not a rpg or a very light rpg. So please guys stop it.

how are you shooting through walls?

I actually never got to see most of these sense i never went guns blasting...being a netruner i usially go stealth with gin being one of my least used weapons.

V is an absolute cyber psycho

Why I love Netrunner in 2.0. Can go on quiet or guns blazing.

V shooting up clouds texas education style def makes you look like a cyberpsycho but damm you got answers quick, gotta go through like 3 encounters before you hear woodmans name normally
