Thank you! I needed this. I reverted one into a snapshot. and I didn't know the root login since It was actually not connecting to our AD so I couldn't use my creds.

I tried it and it gets stuck in the black Grub Boot screen except for a white underscore, which is not even blinking anymore. Tried It several times. Any hint what could be the problem with this?

I press enter but it just says login incorrect

I don't get the purple window but a blue one and when I press arrow down key to select root, it scrolled down and ask me to login. What do I do?

It asks for password before letting you enter any commands. I am still stuck.
