among the top 3 chains, I thought little caesars is better than both pizza hut and dominos.

One of my earliest memories was that there was something called "Caeserland" in Chicago. Basically Chuck E Cheese's but Little Caeser's.

You certainly should have mentioned that they bought the Detroit Tigers from Tom Monaghan, who founded Domino's Pizza.

You left out Hunt Brothers. They are everywhere.

I like their specialty pizzas and crazy bread, never have been a hot n ready fan. I do admire the backstory and how good has come from it (i.e. the story involving Rosa Parks). A tip of the hat from me as I pass by the location near my work.

I feel like the fall matches up with the success of the professional hockey team that the family owned . The owner Mike put a lot of his time and energy into the team, so I feel like his attention was divided at that time.

little caesars was good back in the mid-80's but they did something with it to make the crust not taste as good.

I didn't know about the Detroit connection but that probably explains why little Caesars Arena is in Detroit.

I'm commenting a little late, but I'm in Mexico and Little Caesars is huge here. It all started, from what I can recall, maybe in 2015 or perhaps later. Little Caesars had some locations here but they were ignored to the point of being practically inexistent. I knew a location before 2015 but I never went there. Fast-forward to 2015 and Little Caesars started to open locations in low income neighborhoods, marketed very heavily towards their 'hot and ready' mode of business, and also were and still are the cheapest pizzas around. They started around $4.00 for their pepperoni hot and ready and around $7.00 for their crazy bread and pizza combo and they were and still are massively successful. Probably because I've grown fond of Little Caesars I prefer their pizzas, but definitely they've grown to almost a household staple here in Mexico.

I had a local pizzeria franchise in my town which also had the big 3 and Little Caesars. It came to a point where parents used to come to my place to buy a big family style salad, maybe 2 of them and that’s it. One day my deliver guy gets there at the same time as a parent/volunteer walking in with a stack of 10 pizzas. Probably cheese/pep. The point being, my pizza was farrrrrr far superior but the price of $5, $6 $7 a 14” Large pie is such a lure they’d rather make a second complete stop and order food rather than pay a premium. It make me want to 🤮 One of many reasons I broke out a few years ago. 👋

If you're looking for good pizza, go to dominoes or papa johns. If you only have 10 bucks and need to feed two people, go to little Caesars. At least their toppings dont fall off. Looking at you pizza hut

Grievances between the franchisees and corporate aside - I think LC is still the best value if you crave SIMPLE pizza... they have a core menu and the ingredients they use on it are decent. Way better bang for your buck than any other pizza chain if you just want a simple cheese or pepperoni.

A tiny tid bit… you’re actually wrong about it being a takeout place. Some restaurants DOES have a dine in option. Granted, not a lot of seating and not every place has it, but some does have that option. 😊

It's funny that the original Little Caesars restaurant was started by a Minor League Baseball player and it's most recent ad. Actually has Little Caesars running with a Detroit Lions linebacker.

I genuinely love Little Caesars. In high school, it was common for students to congregate in front of it with some pizzas and crazy bread with the meager allowance we'd save up, on the nights when parents were too busy to cook they'd get the long paper bag with two pizzas which was a life saver, to the lean years of being in one's 20s, and then living in a fairly low-socioeconomic town, Little Caesars was always there.
I personally liked calling in a supreme pizza made to order. The sauce and the dough was just right for me. And the crazy bread was like crack. I no longer live in an area with a Little Caesars, but it's always one of the first comfort foods I think of.

Let me tell y’all something they have not been the same since the 1990s.. they was bought out and then the corporation changed the whole entire recipe for the sauce and how it’s made.. surfer you young people that are like 25 to 28. You have no clue on what little Caesars actually tasted like…. It killed Pizza Hut and killed everything… it was the best but that’s all gone now and totally a shame

I survived college off Little Caesars. Used to get a $5 box and eat 2-3 slices a day and that would get me through a few days.

Little Ceaser's started their $5 pepperonni pizza's as Customer Appreciation Tuesday, when they realized they sold alot on tuesday, they switched to the model of having only pepperoni and cheese pizza for $5 everyday as they streamlined the business into what it is today.

I hate Little Caesars. Pizza Hut is quick enough. I don’t need fast food pizza.

i like them it's cheap plus didn't left me broken like some other place but it needs to stop wasting crap and and the calzonie is very questionable also there are only places probably with cheese sticks i am in also love "the pizza,pizza" line and the mascot and very innovative

I like the company...!! I would never want this company to disappear (I won't say the same thing for Pizza Hut)... When I was at college I used LC slices to make meatball sandwiches or other sandwiches.. The price is cheap so it helps so many people. Carb is my comfort food. Spaghetti, macaroni and Little Caesars were my go to foods when I felt down.

The pan pizza especially is a great value. The crust is pretty tasty and they never skimp on the cheese. I actually prefer them to Dominoes and Papa Johns. Is it the best pizza I’ve ever had? Well no, of course not. But it is good pizza and it’s very convenient

Little Caesars is a complete joke. The pizza is terrible, with bland crust and cheap ingredients. It's hardly even edible. Meanwhile, Chicago deep dish pizza is the king of pizzas. The thickness of the crust adds so much to the overall flavor, and the cheese and sauce and toppings all come together in a glorious symphony. New York pizza is a sad excuse for a meal, while deep dish pizza is a delight to eat. It's all the proof you need that Chicago pizza is the best there is.

I like their pizza, though I haven't had it in a while. After watching this, I may get some tomorrow. 😊

I work at Little Caesars and the great success comes from making everything standard. There is no way of doing things better, only one way and that us all. The technology we use, we follow an artificial intelligence that tell us how much to do for that day. Even tell us when we have to order before it happens. No longer hire people by intelligence, talent, or experience but focusing on the persons character.

Best pizzas are from the real italian restaurants i won't even bother wasting money on this garbage or the other's

The problem I see is that while the quality of Little Caesars is good in the free standing stores, two miles down the road they're selling it out of gas stations. I find it hard to believe that corporate would screw over its free standing franchisee's by selling out of gas stations. The quality suffers and they cheapen their brand by doing this.

The Little Caesars in my town needs to be shut down they opened up hot and ready pizza never hot and ready and you'll be in there ordering your pizza be sitting there waiting and someone walks in and orders one of the pizzas you ordered then the next person gets another pizza you ordered like why am I having to wait worst place and McDonald's shut it down

As a Detroit native, what the ilitch family has brought and done to the city of Detroit is insane. They will always get my money.
