Guys, respect. Mass producing, good for cheap ebay items. I know. But. These axes ARE not viking axes! Just name after your culture but do not use others as a brand. Its like making katana from spring steel. Cheating. And who is cheating is a cheater. Think about it.

What kind of the solution you use that looks like water ?

I respect the craft in this but you need to make it clear the ace is inspired by a television series and bot the actual vikings themselves because this has basically nothing in common with a swedish bearded axe.

To be clear i think these are cool as hell. The ways you combine forging and machinist work are wonderful. But yeah, definitely need to describe this differently.

I noticed that these hand made axes look awfully familiar to Viking Axes sold on Etsy. They are hand made but I wonder if Etsy sellers buy these in bulk and then just etch designs on the axe with acid or a laser etcher. They can be sold as hand made because its true but they are not telling the whole story on Etsy as sellers. Just a thought since I was looking for axes on Etsy that look just like these on the video.

I bet these guys can arm a small army in a week. Very skilled and detailed craftsmanship, I love it

Why on earth would you not use a float to make the eye? The metal is already hot and it would only take a few taps.

These look fare better than the 2 hatchets I bought some years back. the ones i got were beautiful burly handled walnut but after about 8 strikes the handled shattered the nice grain wood is just to weak so I re handled both of them and they have been great the steel is stainless and will out last me . Also on mine the hole for the handle is coked about to one side about 3/16 that was an issue making the new handle. But these look great nice job.
