Legendary items in RPG's aren't always the best - Sentimental

Always come back to this one, was my first one I ever saw years ago and it's still makes me laugh now

So Greg has really a bunch of quests (Sheep, Sword and finally the flowers). wow.

its a bit sad they always thank the patreons, but not the people that watch all there videos lol

It would have been more realistic if he just sold it back to Greg

Someone must mugg Bodger, he always offer so little gold but ask huge prices for his items, he must be learned a lesson. He must show the gold, maybe if 2 muggers will do theyr job at least for one time.😅😅

I always use terrible weapons for this exact reason

I drop tricked the Knight's Sword on OSRS so I could have my own, and kept a Pheonix Crossbow from the Shield of Arrav quest, so I don't want tonhear about getting rid of sentimental weapons.

I'm a collector in games, any unique items I always keep.

I'm always hoping that by ending the game while having the leggos in your inventory, it will somehow OP them. But sadly, that never happens.

This is why you need weapon racks in your house.

Don't sell it, lay it at the alter as a sacrifice to the great god of game balance... the god that has taken so much from so many games over the years.

I really laughed at the fingerguns at the end. These guys are great!

When they nerfed an epic weapon too much in a patch.

This happened to the person I know.

She grinded in the game and got the best equipment in the area, went on a quest, and then got the rewards.

But sadly despite how "Legendary" the reward is, the reward is just a minus compared to her current equipment.

The soul inside it gave it it's value

Shame. That sword had lifesteal and halves your respawn time.

A simple restoration loop and it's the most powerful weapon in the game

Could have atleast sold back to the garlic man.

I always keep items like that in the hope that I someday find a way to make it better than anything else in the game. I think the Final Fantasy cursed items got me into the spirit of that, because when you had fought enough battles with those they turned into God gear.

Greg's grandfather must have been really powerful if he defended his town with such sword.

I wish those sentimental items actually had some value behind them sadly they're always weaker or just on pair with what you're currently using.

I mean… he has a stack of the swords in his cabin hidden behind some straw…. The swords not actually sentimental… it’s just fun to make the players feel bad about that stuff.

I died on the stat difference

I’d think it was cursed, so I have to find a way to break it. Like the grandfather’s soul was the main reason it had damage, like Soul Damage. So I’d just rework it and infuse it with some energy, then reforge the steel (keep the hilt for sentimental reasons)
