Thanks for including our private label colored pencils in this comparison- can't wait to see how they stand up to these great brands! We do want to point out, the Luminance set (most expensive shown here) is called "6901" because all colors included conform to the strict ASTM D6901-15 standard, lightfast to the highest standard for the product category. Artists should pay attention to disclosures on product labels (seals of the ACMI and ASTM conformance standards) because they provide important assurances about performance, ingredients, and safety, backed by documentation and real testing. That testing, disclosure, and original product development is costly for manufacturers, and in our opinion, worth the expense for artists!

50$ for 72 pieces of prismacolors at the begin of this year.... now they cost more than double! Thats a pitty, they are now more expensive than Faber Castell...

Woah woah woah…at my local stores 75 prismacolors are so expensive that there’s a cardboard thing you have to take to the front, buy it and exchange for the actual pencils but it’s only 50 DOLLARS for 75 !!!!!???? I am stunned

Coloured pencils are weird. I think it depends on what an individual likes. Like I love pencils that are soft and easy to layer although my friend prefers the harder ones. It’s strange but kinda cool

$30 gets you 150 Crayola pencils at Walmart. They're the perfect beginner pencils. (And there are many cheaper brands online, like Color Artist from Amazon which is $50 for 280 pencils.)

I have like real old pencils from my dad and they work great! I think they’re Farber Castel and have 60 colors ish?? I love your art ♥️✨
