Would love to see a video of how the Aquapots are doing. Thanks!

ОтветитьIf a golf ball fits in the hole glue strip of plastic to it for a self made water indicator? Patricia Cohn
ОтветитьAbsolutely beautiful!
ОтветитьGet yourself a wooden dowel and stick it down the watering tube to figure out how much water is in it. Pull it out and look at the water stain on the dowel. You will need a seperate one for each container.
ОтветитьHere is a trick. If you count to 60 when you are watering from your hose you run about 5 gallons of water. So for three gallons count to 36 and you should have about your 3 gallons of water. For some reason when I water, I count.
ОтветитьYou already have the biggest plants in all the land! ❤ Each container was more beautiful than the last. I SO want to have a green thumb, but let’s just say I wouldn’t have a problem finding the spout if it was telescoped down to the soil! 😅 Aaron’s forecasted versioning of the eco pots! 😂
ОтветитьI found seed pods on my supertunias, sent them to proven winners to confirm...
ОтветитьI’m going to watch for these. I have a balcony that I’m struggling with. Lightweight and easy to clean sound wonderful!
Ответить💯💯💯💯💯🌺🌼🌸🌻🌸🌼🌺🌹💐🌷🌻🌸🌼🌺🌹💐🌷❤️
ОтветитьSuper excited to be carrying these myself! Couple things to point out….When filling the pots with soil, you always want to PACK the soil into that center soil fill tube. Also, every AquaPot has a small hole on the backside that tells you when the pot is filled with water. The water will leak/pour out of the drain hole. ❤
ОтветитьI think that someone already suggested getting a skinny plain wood dowel that will fit down your watering tube. Put some water down the tube, stick your wooden dowel down pull it up, kind of like an oil dipstick : )!! Add more water as needed : )!!! Easy peasy : )!!
ОтветитьYes, the self watering component is out there. Found it for $29 at Garden Supply. I believe the water base holder is adjustable to different size pots.
ОтветитьTo check water level in reservoir maybe get a stick to measure level?
ОтветитьCherry burst is for 2024??? I bought some at my garden center this year.
ОтветитьNice...Laura...mam...Big--potting🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьVery cool!
ОтветитьAbsolutely love these! Living in hot, sunny FL makes it a lot of work for potted plants. Love that they're light weight, hopefully at a decent price

Ответитьช่องนี้เผยแพร่จากประเทศอะไร..คือฉันก็แค่อยากรู้ เป็นเมืองร้อนหรือเมืองหนาว มีหิมะไม๊..?😊
ОтветитьI totally agree about the water level. I've tried self watering and never knew when they were full.
ОтветитьJust an idea……Would love for you to test each of the Supertunia Vistas in your “test” area with the same water, fertilizer, etc. to see which one is the best or most vigorous grower!
ОтветитьI call the self-watering part as water reservoir. Customers don't think they have to water the plant because its called "self-watering". Please still water the plant. Consider this as an internal pot saucer. I do like that you can remove these water reservoirs for cleaning which means to transplant the perennial or only use annuals. And remember to use tall pots, its the depth of the pot that matters when you have an internal pot saucer water reservoir. Ok. I said it.
ОтветитьI'm so excited for these lighter pots and to buy the inserts too.
ОтветитьHow do you know when it’s time to water? Is there a way to know a plant needs watered?
Ответить** Hi guys.. question.. will all that iron affect the spikey plant in the center.. I always struggle with how to fertilize when combining multiple varieties of plants.. thanks.. All the pots look so amazing.. I love coleus and I didn't plant any this year.. I'm going to have to get on that.. lol
Ответить* Laura, simply put a dip stick in the tube. Do that when it is completely full of water and mark where that 'full' line is. Half way down from there is the 'half empty' water reservoir spot. Sometimes we have to make our own way instead of waiting on others.. Maybe you can sell them on the idea.. it may be a good idea to close that tube off anyway to prevent evaporation.. ha who knows. Anyway.. hope you try it. Curious to see what you can come up with as the stick.. something not wooden as it will possibly act as a wick.. YES I am Crazy Loving the Purple planted urn.. Are those plants available this year or are you just testing them out? crossing fingers.. I have to have them. =D
Ответитьthese are lovely, wouldn't it be great if Aqua Pots did an insert for window boxes...that would eliminate dripping on your deck, right? You should talk to them abut the "Laura window box inserts"!!!! that would be awesome! xoxox
ОтветитьI love watching you and Aaron work together. I would like for you to show a top view of the pots after you plant them. I like seeing all the way around but if you can get one shot from the top that would be great. I love your videos.
ОтветитьHej!
Nice planting 👍🥰
Where have you bought the high pot on YOUR left side?
Please tell me.
Sorry about my bad english..

Good morning
ОтветитьI’m so curious how these light weight pots hold up to high winds. Or would it be easy to anchor them down?
ОтветитьI remember you doing an unboxing of the GroBucket Self Watering Inserts, but I don’t remember seeing a video where you tried them out. What were your thoughts on them? I’d be curious to see a comparison video between these 2 systems!
ОтветитьI'm really interested to see how these do. I might buy some depending on how they actually perform
ОтветитьDo you think you could spray paint these? I really like the square one too but would prefer it in a different color.
ОтветитьHave been using my own designed self-watering 5 gallon pickle containers thrown away by our local restaurant for three/four years. Trim lid to fit 6 inches from bottom held up by a center 6" sewer drain pipe and one drilled drain hole 5-1/2" from bottom of pickle container. Also lid cut out with a 2" space for fill pipe on one side. Easy to fill outside with hose until run out of drilled hole. Love them and would never garden without their wonderful qualities. Zone 5 so have to bring delicate ones inside for winter. Then I use a dip stick clear on one end, other end cover with thumb to hold an indicate 5 inches of water pot level to prevent drainage inside house. Could not find a place to include pictures for detailed explanation. Love your show and watch it every day. Thank you so much for all the helpful information that you provide us.
ОтветитьFor next to no money you can make an indicator. Drill a tiny hole about halfway down the center of a wine cork, then insert a piece of 1/8 inch dowel. Pop it in your fill neck when the reservoir is empty, and make a mark around the dowel with a permanent marker where the top of the fill neck and the dowel meet. You can also mark it at the point where the reservoir is full. Paint it or color with markers or cover with duct tape if you want it to be decorative.
Thanks, Laura and Aaron, for your enthusiastic and consistent efforts to make all of us better gardeners.
What type of gravel did you use for this. area?
ОтветитьI like a spot where you have odds and ends but still are beautiful.
ОтветитьThe dip stick tube from the Christmas tree water fillers would probably work in those tubes as well to check the water level.
ОтветитьI wonder if you can use the self watering inserts in a raised or elevated garden bed like an Olla pot. Thoughts?
ОтветитьThis seems very rushed and not your usual attention to detail
ОтветитьThanks for sharing beautiful pots
ОтветитьDo you think these can be spray painted whatever color works best with my house?
Ответить
