Hey Nick, any chance you could shed some light on the across/X link? I don’t really understand it.
Is its purpose to link to contrasting / oppositional notes? Like in this example, Note-takers is the antithesis to Note-makers.
Or is it solely there to represent notes that are on the same level? (If that were the case, I find that I naturally link to these notes within the body of the note of the connected thought anyways - so I struggle to see the purpose here).
I note that you said “you can only have one” when it comes to the up link and the X link… but both Note-takers & Note-makers could share the same up link (for example a MOC on PKM). So in this case, you could have both.
Thanks in advance 🙏
My dude, I could listen to you talk about this for hours. Your passion for thinking and your delivery of your thoughts is so calming yet exciting and inspiring. I downloaded the LYT kit and am loving the experience of note-making while getting called out on my note-taking. Thanks for these videos!
ОтветитьNote takers, collection info all the time, not thinking about it.
That's me! Ai! Ai!
After watching this video, I made my first 3 notes in a few minutes and so naturally that it blew my mind! Thank you so much for this series :)
ОтветитьWill you be my dad? Jk ❤ 😆 ur gr8t
ОтветитьLooking forward to watching your videos, but had an off-topic question: What piano music is playing in the first minute or so?
ОтветитьLYT — I appreciate all the effort you guys made to help ease the 'overwhelming' feeling of starting on Obsidian. Thank you very much ~
Ответитьanyone knows how to split the right side bar in the same way as in the video??
ОтветитьI've found your channel couple of weeks back and I think your content is about to change my life.
I have been feeling unmotivated, uninspired and overwhelmed for quite some time already as I have had huge amounts of content from the internet but without insights or systems on how to make this content useful for myself and my work. I started with googling personal knowledge management systems and was directed to your channel and of course, Tiago's as well. I also wanted to work on "improving my critical thinking and insight generation" but didn't know what that means exactly and how to get there. But you're basically answering those questions and helping to create systems to support these goals.
I am beyond grateful to get inspired by your knowledge nuggets and have downloaded LYT kit already. Thank you so much for this Nick. This is huge for me personally and my life!
Hi, isn't this very similar to a wiki? (But without the node map)
ОтветитьGreat with the Up link 👍🙌
ОтветитьNick, I’m new to this 2nd brain concept. I’ve been researching for a couple of weeks. I’ve watched several of your videos. They are great. Thank you for the content. I have a question. I have so much information in files on my computer. I’ve kept information for years. I started this journey looking for something that would let me link those files in the same way you can link notes. A huge problem with the organization structure of a computer (files and folders) is that the content of one file might belong in multiple folders, if folders are concepts and I want to review all the content I have gathered on that concept. Does that make sense. Does Obsidian provide a way to do this? Even if I start making notes and want to reference a file on the computer. Over time I would begin to build that map of already created content. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.
ОтветитьHow do I get the browser style tab view with the "+" button? I'm on Windows 11
ОтветитьWell I'm an idiot...only took me like 30 minutes to figure out how to get it to open in Obsidian instead of Text Edit/MindMap/etc. That's one small step for Jason, one giant blow to the ego. smh
ОтветитьHow would I include a top-link and tags to a slide presentation, without them showing on the first slide?
ОтветитьLove this Nick - great reminder! Here's to the ideaverse!
ОтветитьTHAT'S RELATIVITY FOR YA
Ответить🙏🙏🙏
ОтветитьWhat's the name of the theme in use?
ОтветитьThis is great stuff. Sorry, I've pulled it into logseq but I enjoy hacking at the logdeq data schema more. Geek life.
Ответитьwow... note-making!
ОтветитьLYT 7 coming soon?
ОтветитьIdeaverse 💡 😃
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьHi Nick Milo
