This episode was a real heart string puller, was not at ALL ready for the heartache over an imaginary love. Underrated show for sure.

I am not shocked that Seth pulled this off. The Orville is exactly what Seth is capable of doing, delivering comedy, romance, drama, action, suspense. The man is literally a genius when it comes to knowing what people want. Look at how his career has evolved from the first episodes of Family Guy on through everything like Ted and then The Orville.

Fuck I can't wait to see what new show he gives us next.

Hopefully season 4 The Orville maybe someday, or maybe a movie?!

I had a feeling of nostalgia when I heard this song in the Orville but couldn’t quite grasp why. Thank you for reminding me of The Last Unicorn, last time I watched it was almost 4 decades ago. Such a wonderful cartoon, and the song fits this episode so beautifully.

This song makes me realize that when I watched the Last Unicorn as a child, I related to Amalthea - feeling like an ethereal being trapped in a new mortal body that dies a little every day. Now, I relate to Molly, wondering Where were you when I was new, feeling like I'm perhaps too old and jaded to appreciate the magic of ethereal moments like the creator of Family Guy collectively breaking Gen X's heart with the devastating use of this song.
