Don’t forget you can get a free 44. Revolver and a couple of rounds of ammo, at a water pump along the shore of the lake/pond at sanctuary.

One of the best help for starters is the fusion core beneath the red rocket gas station

I always scrap sanctuary straight away to get loot ftom safes to save bobby pins and build 6 beds , water purifiers and and settlement beacon and plant muttfruit ect i collect en route from vault.... sets you up nicely for when youve done Concorde

And the small raider camp directly to the right of the first spot ...dead raiders and traders to loot

You can take Dogmeat back to the vault and have him fetch the cryolator for you aswell

Forgot about the duffel bag on the roof first in sanctuary. Such sadness, much failure.

There was also an opened stump like across the road from the red rocket station with, i think a tool box but there might have been some other stuff too there. There is that ranger station with the skeletal remains of the young pregnant girl as well with her holotape and an assortment of goodies aside from the 3 bloatflies.

Going back to the red rocket station, even if you don't choose to go into the illegal dump site cave, there is still some nice junk just outside the cave.

Honestly, there is a lot of good loot relatively speaking all over the place. In Concord, near the city limits, there is that house with the...i believe gourd plants out back and all the goodies inside. Considering that you might want to find stuff to plant in Sanctuary Hills, never hurts to find some early.

Oh but of course, in Sanctuary, there is that bunker under that one house, which will have a locked safe which early in you won't be able to loot as i recall, but it bares looting the place early. Its annoying as all hell as enemies attack the settlement will occasionally enter into that bunker as well and so you have to go in after them.

Not to mention all the fun goodies you can find around the lake next to Sanctuary. Leather armor half washed up on shore, the little pier and the loot nearby.

Theres also a waterpump with a safe that contains good loot for beginning

Best mod is the Nora companion wip mod lets your customized Nora to be a companion eith custom voice and animations for your next paythrough

Go further down the left after the statue and there's also a 44 magnum revolver close to the water if i remember! 😅😎👌🏻

Dont forget the 44 revolver you can find by the generator. It's east of the duffle bag

Ummm...this was all known 12 years ago

Duplicate all of your material types until you have over 100k of each type, craft a ton of molotovs for xp until you're lvl 50, get guns, ammo, armour. Beat mini boss at saugus forge and get the magazine in order to build alot copper statues in sanctuary until lvl 70-80 for maxed special and good perks.

Small sniper nest to the left on the rocks above the lake. Higher luck makes the raider Carry better weapons. Also, (dont quote me) north east under the power tower usually is a power armor chassis. Not sure if the dude from the Atom Cats is always roaming there at the start? Makes their location on the map...the whole map away hahaha

I always go straight for the glowing sea, that's the best start.

Don’t forget the army helmet by the APC in the pond west of Sanctuary.

If you go the other way from Red Rocket, you can find a skeleton sitting near an object, with a .44 revolver, 5 bullets, and some other stuff. It's extremely rare to get .44 revolvers that early in the game

The water at the tower sometimes likes to fall beneath the world.

You forgot the underground survivalists cellar located in sanctuary. Has 1 or 2 bars of gold plus some weapons and ammo

Army helmet at APC, Then Wicked Shipping, To Ranger Cabin, Back along path you described in video, Then walk along the lake until you see the sub pump thing and open it for a caps stash and revolver 🙌

What about the free .44 and some ammo just down the coast line to the left of the bridge..
It's a bit of a hike but hey, free .44 at like level 1 or 2 and there's only a dog in the way at most.

What about the .44 magnum in the area?

There’s also the robot disposal site which there’s not only the sentry bot you can self destruct for fusion cores but also a nearby crashed vertibird near a lake with an almost full set of power armor that scales

Each playthrough I do a power armor build, and after grabbing the T-45 from concord I'll head straight over to the Robot disposal grounds north of Sanctuary and steal the fusion cores off the sentry bot thats there. Sometimes FC's spawn in the military crates there too. Theres also a Fat Man, just no ammo for it. Oh and dont forget the hot rodder magazine.
All around a great spot to loot, yet no-one seems to talk about it

Don’t forget the cellar in the neighbors house to the left of you home in sanctuary

There’s also a little cache if you follow the lake up towards the satellite tower. Stop when you see a pump next to the water and turn it off. Then turn right and follow the pipes up to a machine. Lift up the side panel and there’s cap stashes. As well jump on top and there’s rad away

Also there is a duffel bag on top of one of the houses in sanctuary that can be accessed using a fallen log.

There is a free Fat Man and Mini Nuke at the beginning if you just head to the robotics scrapyard that is to the right of Sanctuary on the map but be warned that the Mini Nuke may be bugged out and cannot be grabbed so save your game before heading over

At the start of the bridge near the sanctuary signs there with be a trashcan with 3 frag grenades

For the best start always pick Lockpicking as ur first perk and go into the root cellar bebind 1 of the houses in sanctuary

There is a fallen tree in sanctuary that you cam walk onto a roof with, there is some loot there as well

You forgot to mention the fat man with a nuke in the junkyard and somewhere close to it there’s a stash with 60 caps and snubnosed revolver with ammo and there’s also some chems there and purified water too if I’m not wrong

Don’t forget about following the river to the left side of the bridge. Keep following it until you reach a fuse box with an open lid and a switch. When you flick the switch the noise it makes will turn off, after it has turned off go up and follow the pipe until you reach a giant yellow metal rectangle (I’m not sure that it actually is called) the hatch on the right side when approaching from the river will be unlocked and out will fall three cap stashes, there will also be a .44 pistol, some ammo, and a randomized loot bag.
