Hello Gabi, thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. My girlfriend and I absolutely love your channel. Although I've been to Thailand many times in the past, this time post Covid with the whole world flocking to thailand, we were wondering if it would be wise to book most of our hotels in advance to make sure we don't get caught without one on some nights.We are going to Thailand for 1 month after Xmas (high season) I normally book hotels like you do, the same day or the day before, but this time might possibly be different. What is your gut feeling about this? I know it's a bit early to say and you haven't lived thru post Covid yourself. We booked the first couple of nights in Bkk and moving south afterward, Hua Hin, Phuket, Samui etc. Thank you again for sharing your experiences thru this great channel. Cheers from Canada !

While you are in Da Lat, don't forget to visit the Valley of Love. By the way, Da Lat is where they grow all kinds of flowers and fresh vegetables.

Hi Gabi, I've been following your channel for a few months and initially I had high expectations. After all, you were riding a Honda African twin in S.E Asia and seemed to be on quit the adventure. However, I wish you'd focus more on places that are a little more outside the main touristy "hot spots." For example, while I enjoyed the city of Da Lat, I found the areas around Da Lat much more interesting, enjoyable and rewarding. You itinerary reminds me of Americans who go to Europe for a two week holiday and plan to visit 5 or 6 cities. It just doesn't work. Check out the "Itchy Boots" u-tube channel, (1.2 million followers), as an example of what adventure travel is all about .

Hell yea Dalat rules

Watching this from California brings back bittersweet memories. I was born and grew up in Da Lat during the closed-door time (think North Korea). Poverty was pronounced. I used to go to the Datanla waterfall to collect woods from the jungle to make little money to help out my Mom. Of course, there was no rollercoasters, no tourists, no touristy mock-ups then, only nature and us, 11-12 year-old poor boys working to support our families in anyway we could. It was just like yesterday. Thanks for showing the genuine side of Dalatians. Have a great time for rest of your trip, Gabi!

There's so much to do and see in Da Lat that you really need about 3 days there. Definitely come back and do it all as so many people love that city.

I live in Dalat and the foreigners are just now starting to come back. It'll be another 3-4 months before they're really back. Tigit is a good choice for rentals, but it looks like you just needed a cable adjustment. Hint for crossing the street ANYWHERE in Asia... pick a gap and walk at a constant speed; the motorbikes and cars will avoid you. If you stop or speed up, you screw up their calculations and will, at some point, get hit. Next time, buy your croissants from the bakery at the Colline Hotel; they're MUCH better than Lien Hoa.

You get stuck just in Da Lat province cause your motobike didn't prepare at professional motobike service

The way that young Vietnamese fix your bike is the way Vietnamese welcome visitors , we alway try to made guest feeling welcomed by trying to help and made you more comfortable during your stay . The friendly hospitality culture of Vietnamese not just now but for a long times ago . We do have some bad scams and hustler like any other country so be careful .
