Abortion in the consttituion is horrendus. France used to be the evil guy of europe, later substitute byr Germany and Russia, but still exports a lot of bad ideas.

i think another thing to take into account is france's "cultural centralisation" due to centuries of destroying its regional languages and culture, and therefore making the rest of france look to paris for "how to be french" instead of having their own cultures, since they were destroyed by paris

I do wanna push back on the idea that Europe invented social democracy and the modern welfare states, one of the first and most successful social democracies was new deal America, it was one of the best functioning welfare states of the era and far more egalitarian (as befitting social democracy) than most… then Reagan and the public shanked it out behind the shed and left it to slowly die

I wouldn't consider keeping abortion legal to be a good thing for any country. In fact, Europe is demographically doomed because of abortion alone.

You can't really make a good point about a form of State bureaucracy while showing some of the most imperialistic countries on Earth today.

The root of centralization is manipulation. Therefore, the root of manipulation is the desire for control.

Just a question: Did you happen to confuse Agincourt with Crécy?

The French were Dismounted at Agincourt, and by the time of Agincourt the French had learned to fear the Longbow and had already started taking strides at organized militaries with the Gendarme system.

This is a disgusting look into the dark European soul. Such a casual discussion of the creation of the monster that devours the people is absurd. A centralized state that subordinates people’s religious rights is not a wonderful efficiency: it’s a crime against humanity.

The biggest crime committed by the French is the fact that they conquered and subjugated the Occitans, which means they cut off a dialect continuum between Iberia and Italy. Spain also did similar things, like with Catalonia and Galicia.

Love how this supposedly talks about Europe as a whole, yet it's super western orientated. During the medieval ages for example, the Balkans were at times, far more centralised than any other state known of at those times, and definitely had solid concepts of capital cities, of a common identity and so on. The video is nice, but it feels really western centered when it's supposedly talking about all of Europe.

If France has to fire people in its government in order to adapt to changes in society that come with technology, international change, or internal shifts, is it able to? Usually firing people is unpopular for politicians.

A simple way to understand it is: France is Chaotic Order and Britain is Ordered Chaos i.e. Britain uses order to control its inherently bonkers system of Government, whilst France encourages chaos to hide the fact that its people are ruled by order...

The Natural Arc of Leadership:
The Wise Lead by Example
They teach, build, and guide—not through force, but through respect.
Leadership is earned, not imposed.
Decisions are made for the benefit of all, not the few.
The Corrupt Seize Control
Wisdom doesn’t seek power, but power seeks to replace wisdom.
The original leaders fade or die, and opportunists step in.
The mission shifts from serving the people to serving the rulers.
Control Replaces Trust
Laws replace common sense.
Force replaces voluntary cooperation.
The system exists to sustain itself, not the people.
The Cycle Ends in Collapse
Every corrupt system eventually eats itself.
The people either wake up and exit or get crushed under its weight.
Decentralization becomes the inevitable reset.
