cant be a killer when im already apart of the Phillips hue system. I wouldnt switch or buy both since i would then need two separate apps. PLUS HUE IS INTEGRATED IN RAZER CHROMA. Making video games more fun.

Hey Jeremy, I have recently gotten into smart home accessories in the last year. Initially I started with just a couple of amazon smart plugs for the lights on either side of my bed. Then I saw the Merkury bulbs from Walmart after watching a few reviews on here, I decided to start there, I figured because they were cheaper it wouldn't be as big of a loss if I didn't like them, or they didn't work out the way I wanted. Turns out they work really well, the only downside is the colors aren't as bright as the white mode. It's ok though, because it's good for lightning at night, where i want light, but not excessively bright. Either way, have getting used to these bulbs, I have more confidence investing in the mor expensive bulbs if I want more features. I've watched a couple of your videos already, great content.

Wanna ask, if any wifi issues. How can i control the lights without wifi ? is there a physical remote?

Well done video. Would you still recommend going with Lifx bulbs if only buying a small number of them? It sounds like you get a better user experience (app) with Lifx but you pay for it. Curious to hear your recommendation for a setup that will not involve many bulbs being purchased.

They do fail. Overtime they like to turn them self on when part fail! I sure he knows what I am talking about.

Great vid! I have a couple hue bulbs and a couple cheap Amazon LED strips and in the last week got a couple Lifx bulbs and the Lifx Z LED strips. Holy cow Lifx blows Hue away! Way brighter and more color. And the Lifx app is awesome and easy to use. Plus you don’t need a hub for Lifx. Lifx Z strips have multiple zones so you can set up different colors in the strips. But more expensive for sure!

T H A N K Y O U. I'm trying to set up the house with some cool but simple tech before my husband comes home from overseas (army wife here 😊). I also am scared of the dark- crazy I know- so I tend to leave lights on all the time. This will help with that a LOT. Can't wait to order these and see how they go!

Any clue why a few of my novastellas are turning on by themselves? We turn them off and they turn back on again. Very frustrating.

Can definitely get expensive can't argue with that. But considering LED lights have an average lifespan of 13-15 YEARS I'd much rather fork out and invest in the Philips Hue system just for the quality and ease of use/UI of their Apps. Still cool and a good option for those on a budget or looking to see if it's something they may want to invest more into in the future.

The only thing is that these bulbs only work with 2.4ghz WIFI!🥴🥴🥴🙄 nothing else!:( 👎👎 5G 👎👎
