I'm so happy to see the first StarCraft still going!
ОтветитьA game to watch when you're tired of getting DT rushed.
ОтветитьDude...this is me on the D- ICCUP ladder.
Ответитьthat bonus story is meaningful to the community
ОтветитьAlways enjoy catching these on my lunch breaks. Thanks for the great casts, Arty!
ОтветитьThat rush actually made me laugh. It ended so fast. <XD
ОтветитьJust such a mess, once those 3 lings go in he just panicked hard, and after losing 4 probes it was GG nothing could be done to recover it
ОтветитьHow long was this game in Scaramuccis?
ОтветитьThat's certainly something to learn from
ОтветитьLove it!!!! thank you for doing this!!!!
ОтветитьThanks RT, enjoyed the post-match anecdote and the info on butter 2 was new to me as well. Keep up the good work!
ОтветитьWorse worker micro than RT’s by far. Those probes were served up on a plate.
ОтветитьThank you for the casting of this great game
ОтветитьIf the protoss build a gateway instead of base in the first time, the zergling will not into the original base
ОтветитьIf you keep making these I'm just gonna keep watching them.
ОтветитьGarbage... why bother casting this?
Ответитьnice
Ответитьthanks
Ответитьwtf was that
ОтветитьImagine dying to three lings lol.
ОтветитьLooks like a game with my friend lol
Ответитьlol'd at that gg
ОтветитьThese are just technicalities, but there are some extremely short games due to unusual circumstances. Supposedly, Hogil vs. Jihyun ended after a few seconds when Hogil accidentally paused the game (but I can't find a reliable reference to it). In the Bacchus OSL Ro36 game between BackHo and GoRush on Outsider on 2009/05/13, GoRush accidentally typed the letter 'a' into chat 45 seconds into the game and was disqualified 3 seconds later. At 48 seconds, that might be the shortest pro game if the Hogil vs. Jihyun one doesn't pan out.
The shortest game that didn't end in a disqualification is probably Kingdom vs. JulyZerg on Korhal of Ceres in 2004. I can't find a VOD for this game or enough information to accurately estimate its length, but it was clearly extremely short. It's the final clip in Pimpest Plays 2004. Kingdom built a double proxy gate in slightly the wrong position and trapped in his own zealot, then GGed a couple seconds later. I imagine that's probably faster than 2'11".
The shortest game that didn't end because of a blunder would probably be a 4 pool rush, but even then, it's usually significantly longer than 2'11". Typically these end after around 2'45"-3'45" if they aren't held. But on small 2-player maps, the rush can be scouted somewhat faster than that, so an instant GG would probably end the game in less than 2'11".
pro games are great but we need a guy in the chat team ffa tournament on old blizzard maps some day
ОтветитьThe game was so bad grandpa Artosis had to regale us with a story lmfao
ОтветитьThis gives me more respect for pros. I bet there's tons of moments where a game could just end but they just know their timings or micro so well that it doesn't look like as big of a deal as it really is
Ответить:D
ОтветитьI mean even once the lings get in, shouldn’t you be able to defend your mineral line against three lings?
ОтветитьGlad the video didn't stop after gg! Aftergame commentary is nice.
Ответитьunfortunate thumbs up
ОтветитьThe fastest game... hmm I do recall a ZvT or P when the zerg when for a 4-pool back when it cost 150 minerals and found the opponent with the first overlord.
Ответитьyikes
ОтветитьCasting commentary is👌
ОтветитьPlease don't make those stupid thumbnail faces
ОтветитьThe first time I ever saw Artosis was when he was involved with Hearthstone, and I hated him. I thought, "who is this nerd and why should I care?"
Fast forward, and a friend got me into watching SC2. Then I found out that I was right, he's a nerd, but he's just the right amount of nerd for Starcraft. Cheers
xD
Ответитьbutter, the greatest rush map.
Ответить“I guess we see why Nansu is not well known…”
LMAO gottem!
At the end, just like as you said, that is why the Protoss player is not at the highest level of professional SC1, not knowing the exact timing on that scenario.
ОтветитьA truly masterful game arty. Died to lings in 2 minutes hahaha. Cheers to a good stream.
ОтветитьIs that artosis playing? 😂
ОтветитьWow at last a game that looks like .one, I swear I would've played the exact same has that programer!
Ответитьthrilling. bw truly the king of esports entertainment.
ОтветитьGoes to show how a few seconds in a pro match make all the difference.
Ответитьi love this dumb games, feels like home to me !
ОтветитьThis is so weird...
People on ladder know how to block these timings. Ive seen it. How does he not respect it?
ArtoPog
ОтветитьYeah yeah
.me 2
Just wanted to let ya know Arty I REALLY enjoy these casts. Thank you.
