Thrustmaster TMX Pro Full Review!

Like the tmx but the wheel is too small. Other than that it is pretty good

if you're just getting into sim racing and you are unsure of what to buy, you could always return it after testing within a certain time frame and get your money back if the store you bought it from has that policy. or you can do what i did and buy the wheel you are looking for at a sale or discount whenever it comes up. This way you can sell it at a profit and upgrade if the wheel doesn't suit you. i got a Logitech G29 during black friday for considerably cheaper than the current market price and if i'm not too happy with it when it arrives, i'll upgrade.

There is absolutely no sense in spending money where you don't need it. Especially with the inflated market due to the recent lockdowns, industry downsizing and the coof. Sim racing can get very expensive and i'd rather spend my money where it counts.

So I can't mount the tmx pro with skrews and I have to mount it with the plastic stuff?

The TMX is a bad toy whith dead zone of 5 degrees

Does it have an airbag inside?

If you can get over the plastic/rubber wheel... this is the best performing wheel you will ever find for it's price point. I would consider the TMX to be tier 2 of racing wheels.

i think its probably still the best budget wheel and pedal set that is compatible with the very latest xBox.

Just ordered this one and a stand was trying to decide between this and the g29.
Definitely gonna upgrade down the road my goal is the podium DD1

but compared to the logitech g29? it costs only 30 bucks more but is brushed metal instead of plastic and hand stitched leather not plastic stuff.. idk i think id just spend 30 more and get the g29

I know this is an older video but I want to thank you for this. This nudged me to order this wheel. With the after affects of 2020, it's nice to hear for budget minded "you can spend more by spending less initially" and that, ultimately is what sold it for me.

Dude, this is such an awesome review! I've been researching for weeks which wheel to buy and I'm new to sim racing so I had no idea what to choose, after this review I'm going to definitely buy the TMX PRO!

I was looking at this wheel to buy and wanted to know what handbrake you have because I wanted to buy a handbrake for the wheel but didn't find any compatible handbrakes.

Just got the wheel and maybe it takes some getting used to but I'm kinda let down. The "clicking" or clunking when you turn is rather annoying. And since I don't have a whole cockpit system setup yet it moves around my little desk (not the wheels fault, I know). I'm hoping I can tweak some settings in game and get it working better but I'm not too sure. I find myself losing control really easily which actually just reminded me, maybe I should be using Sim steering.

Superb review - for me the choice between the TMX and TX wheels comes down to whether the TMX is "good enough" for a beginner. I had some concerns about the cheap pedals on the non-pro TMX. The TMX Pro seems on the surface to be the ideal spec for someone wanting to try sim racing without breaking the bank but reviews seem to be sparse so really glad I found this and credit to the author for taking the time to review this - thank you !

I have a question. It’s between the tmx pro and tx 458 itialia. This would be my first wheel. I like the overall package of the tmx pro/price at $250.00. The tx is $349.00. But worse pedals and toy like rim. And after replacing those the price is jumping to a better csl elite. So I guess the question is the complete package better on the tmx pro ? Accept for the base.

It’s on my wishlist. I own the Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Spider racing wheel, but the TH8A doesn’t support the wheel 😩. Also, I play Forza Horizon 3 and 4
