FYI. When you smoke weed in public spaces, even if you think they are private, other people can smell it and it attracts creeps -- that's happened a lot in these type of scary stories.

I think I was approached by a girl by Joanna, glad I brushed her off, she def picked me bc I was a loner then.

She acted like it was just about a church, but before that she had chatted me up like a normal person.

I had a ... I don't know if it's a cult or not, but they kept coming at my door to try to get me to join their "church", even though I told them again and again to stop. At one point, I just cracked the door opened and whispered I wasn't allowed to talk to them anymore because my Lord and Master was getting mad at me. When they asked me who my L&M was, I looked super scared and whispered "Satan".
They never came back

Regarding story #7, I don't know anyone that owns property that would leave it because of squatters without a firefight or at least having the authorities clear them off the property as soon as they are noticed trespassing

Hello, Let's Read. I appreciate you publishing my story, it means a lot. I'm the one who wrote #3 and it turns out, "Brandon" was messing with me all along. Of course, I was 18/19 at the time and naive, having been in very few relationships so that's why I believed him for the most part but soon got out of it. I'm embarrassed about the story but again, appreciate you posting it. That was nice of you.

I'm 22 now and seeing some of these comments personally attack me are utterly ridiculous and don't know what they're talking about. My decisions back then may have not been smart, but I was a teenager with little experience. I'm not going to make the best decisions in life.

We had some Jehovah’s Witnesses come to our door years ago, and my dad firmly but politely turned them away.

What I don’t under is, according to JW beliefs, only a certain number of people (which absolutely have to be JW) can go to heaven during the Rapture, so why even bother trying to convert everyone they come across, assuming the number of JW is already at the predetermined number?

Story 3 is why long distance relationships with no plan to actually close the gap is a bad idea. Me and my current long term boyfriend met online, through YT actually, and were long distance for a year and a half before we closed that gap, and had planned to almost a year before. And even that takes a lot. Long term relationships with no planning for anything more in the near future make no sense to me, honestly. After so much time, you don’t truly know what they’re doing offline or in their real life, and Vice versa. And if there’s not constant communication all the time, it can go south in no time. AND if you’ve been long distance for a good amount of time, but still haven’t actually met up with the person irl or spent any time them in person, you can only know them so well.

I just wanna say that I'm a Christian and hearing some of these stories makes me realize how so many of these cults completely misrepresent and smear God. It's a shame because that's not how a true Christian should ever behave. People are free to worship whatever and whoever they choose but if they say they come in the name of God then they should always live according to God's word and teachings. Often some leaders make it more about them and their agenda rather than the bible. I don't mean to ramble but I wanted to say that theee crazy ppl hurt God more than they help him. I don't argue about God so please don't come for me in the comments. I'm not perfect and I fail daily but I truly do love the Lord. I hope everyone has a blessed day and please know that you're loved and you absolutely matter. 💯 ❤😊

I never really thought all that hard about it but the Jehovah witness folks have knocked on my door a couple times, every time it was when I was living in the nicest neighborhood. I was only living there like 2 yrs but even living in a high populated area that’s also higher poverty I ain’t ever even seen them walking around. The 2 areas are only a few miles apart. The cults know the trailer hood can’t afford to support their cult😂
