Hi, we purchased the EKIY 7Y android heat set. We have inserted a sim but have been unable to activate it in the unit. Any ideasor suggestions welcome.

I have the t900... I had to get a hidden settings app to access the Bluetooth2 settings to try and add my OBD adapter... My problem is, all the devices in the bluetooth device list say "no name" so I have no idea which one to choose to pair my OBD adapter... have you had this problem?

I have just purchased a EKIY T8 any idea what the very long twin green cable is for.
? Also reversing camera only comes on when you switch the lights on manually. Also, cant get the steering wheel buttons to work. Mine is a Mercedes ML 300 2010. Any suggestions please

On some forums, people have discovered some EKIY units faking the Android version. They have units showing Android 10 or 11, but Google reports it is Android 8. Have you had any issues? Have you compared what the unit says to what is reported by Google?

does the radio display dynamic trajectories when reversing?

I’m trying to decide between this T7 and an Atoto a6pf for my 2012 Honda Fit LXL. One of the appeals of the T7 is that it already comes with plastic cutout that fits my car. On the other hand the Atoto is a more established brand. Finally, I think the main use of the stereo is going to be with Android Auto and CarPlay, so maybe the powerful hardware on the T7 is somewhat wasted. Any thoughts?

I ordered one of these based on your review, just waiting for it to arrive :). I tend to trust your reviews after watching many videos of yours.
It would be nice if the fan had been hardwired to the accessory line internally instead of an external connection, but I guess it makes it easier to replace a failed fan.
I did note the T7 does not come standard with 360 degree camera chip and it cost and extra $15 US for me to order one with that chip. I did go all out and get the 8GB RAM model myself as I had a lower spec unit previously and although I used it for almost 6 years, the lower RAM did make it a little sluggish and slow to load more intensive apps like certain navigation apps.

I purchased the T900 after watching several of your reviews. waiting for it to arrive

Does anyone know if the reversing camera on this head unit have the 360 panoramic view like it does on the ATOTO S8 Ultra or does it only have parking lines. I want that 360 view for just the reverse camera. I don’t want to have to install 4 cameras to the get 360 view.

Can the rear camera in the 360 view system be used for 360, reversing and also for the DVR ?
Just wondering if we would need multiple camera's on the back to utilise DVR as well as the other features?
I checked it out on the AliExpress store, I found it interesting that the T7 flagship didn't come with the 360 IC included and you had to buy that at extra cost, but the 2GB /32GB M7, lower spec unit, comes with the 360 chip preinstalled.
This is a catch for people buying the T7. You must pay the extra for the 360 view IC at time of purchase if you want to add it later, you can't add the IC later.

I bought an EKIY head unit for my '14 Outback. I thought about getting the 360 cameras too but that would be too much work. The HU is plug and play for everything except the reverse camera, which kinda sucks. I do like the HU and have no complaints other than the rear camera.

Does this support the 360 camera on my orginal unit ? I dont want to buy addidtional cameras. Any help would be appreciated finding it difficult to figure this out!!

Strange, when I look for my 2011 Estima it is only giving me an option of a T900 or T8. Is it something to do with the T7 not being a custom fit model or is it discontinued now? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm trying to buy an EKIY T7 with 360 camera function. They say "Must buy 360 function IC before sending out the radio, camera kit can be bought later." Have you got any idea how and or if that works??

Hey, great video, only thing I was missing was the showing of the Google Play store. From my experience some Android TV boxes comes with a weird version of Google Play that doesn't have many apps available. Other than that the review is really great. I was searching for some good english video on these android radios. Thanks a lot!

I bought a T7 also . I live in the USA where we use miles and Fahrenheit. If this is their flagship android car radio they dropped the ball. Something as simple as changing Celsius to Fahrenheit and kilometers to miles can't be done on this radio even though there is a setting to do both, changing the setting does nothing. Contacted support and they said "it can't be done".

Mine inut is T7, 4gb/64gb, I think all needed cables are connected, but compared to the original radio, T7 has poor sound quality. Maybe anybody has same problem and have founded a solution ?

Hello @saab unleashed thankyou for this most informative video. I am looking to install something like this along with a 360 camera system / TPMS etc into my 2010 Volvo XC90. Looking at their store, EKIY appear to do a X7 head unit for the Volvo. The price is sub £100… is that right?! Is the X7 essentially the same head unit as this T7 but with a different adapter plate for Volvos, as I don’t see a reference to the X7 on their website, only AliExpress. One last question, does the 360 camera give any visual alerts on screen, or audible alerts if the car is too close to an object, or is it purely the camera feeds? Thankyou very much.

What are you using to mount the unit into the car? Mine didn't come with any brackets and the back of the unit is not like a single or double length so I can't use my traditional mounting hardware from other headunits
