This is a remarkable video for me. I've been trying to reconstruct my swing. I'm pretty sure horizontal shift is my primary power source. However, so much of what I've been trying to do (after watching a lot of videos) is probably intended for golfers who rely more on rotation or ground force for their power. It's been frustrating, because I can't seem to incorporate all of the things I would need to do well to make them all work. I've not been able to figure out how to have great horizontal shift with great rotation and great ground force. In some ways, they feel like they're working against each other.

Hi Christina as usual I love your video where we have to stop and think what we are doing wrong in our swing. I have questioned myself on these matters repeatedly over the many years I played golf.

Heck years ago I even spent 500 dollars for a week of lesson ( not from you) where afterward I simply felt like quitting the game altogether

So there you have my sad truth. I am a brain challenged golfer having little success in my past 40 plus years of loving golf; while cursing myself every time I play

However praise be my highest power: now after 40 years of playing bad golf I recently have successfully become a compound pivotal diagonal oblique swinger of my golf club and I want to share it freely to the world.

In this golf swing there are no deliberate straight horizontal moves; no deliberate spinning movement with my hips; and no deliberate vertical movements of bouncing my body up and down; as that energy comes only from God’s green earth

My God given golf swing is truly the easiest and most accurate swing that is not just reserve for elite player of the game; but I believe all golfer should learn how to do. And i am truly hoping you allow me to show it to you this year. A sample of which I will E mail you today Cheers ❤️😃⛳️👍🥂

Glad I saw this because it has eased my mind and helped me to settle on one swing and one swing only.
I have over 100 swings with any combination of back swing and down swing in between. Last week I finally decided to settle on one that feels natural to me and which I enjoy the feel of. Going by your analysis It’s the horizontal swing. Bit of a slide. But the important move for power is rhythm and starting the weight transfer before fully completing the back swing along with dropping the club with soft hands (hence the importance of rhythm).

look at Adam Scott when he was winning. Now look at the last two years. Subconsciously he bypasses his sit down position. He just stays pretty rigid, as seen by a lack of dropping out of transition. That's where the inexplicable poor drives that show up (infrequently) come from. The funny thing is that his practice swing has a beautiful sit down.
