Oris make great watches, unfortunately their time keeping is not accurate enough -5 +20 secs per day average is frankly not acceptable for a watch athis price point, in my opinion!

Brilliant commentary! and a gorgeous Oris. I have yet to buy my first watch and I am enjoying the research. Currently, the Breitling Premier is No.1 but this Oris is very classy indeed. Thank you.

Revisiting this video, makes me happy about my first Swiss watch purchase. Steel for its utilIty and affordability, day and date for convenience, and pilots watch for legibility. Historic brand is a plus, and under $1000. Hamilton Khaki Aviation Pilot Day Date checked all the boxes.

The price tag is still pretty steep, and the not limited Atelier Calibre 111 has an ugly date window.

It seems people that buy rolex don't much care about what the watch is or does. It's about the name and nothing more. Even oris has joined the price hike. Each of the big brands are knocking out almost a million units a year people will eventually wake up and the only loosers will be idiot caresalesmen. And maybe the industry.

One word: Speedmaster. End of story.

It would be nice if you gave the price in U.S. dollar amount as well as pounds.

After 5 months, I managed to narrow down to the OMEGA Seamaster 300M. After watching this video... I'm back at square 1... gosh darn it

First look is Wow!! Second look says, What's happening with the Gigantic power reservoir dial. Ruins the look...sorry. Nice movement.

I stayed to the end, and just recently bought my first automatic mechanical watch. I don't feel bad about not buying this. It's a really nice watch, but it just isn't my style. And a little rich for my blood.

It may be a good looking watch but looking at it through a macro makes it look worse than the $300 Seiko I saw in another video of yours I’ve just watched,

When I first interested in watches. I have already laid my eye on the JLC Reverso duo face small second. That was when I was 12. Now I'm still nowhere near it but will get there eventually. But for now, I'm rocking with my Seiko.

After being used to zoom on Grand Seikos, Oris just looks like crap.

Wow, a lot of the comments sound like off putting snobbery. I have seen this watch in person. (no, not on my wrist), and it is stunning. Not to mention the other 11X calibers, especially with the blue dial. It just could be this particular watch coming from a bad owner. It seems as if people are put off by the price because they are not used to seeing Oris in this price range. Show me another 10 day, in-house, hand wind power reserve that doesn't command this price range, if not more. Perhaps one should learn the history of Oris first. Is this a first-timers watch? No (unless one has done their research), but neither is a Rolex. But hey if you want to be a snob, Rolex is perfect for you. Personally, Rolex is a never watch for me.

I think this one has been sitting on the shelf awhile. I thought if he tries any harder to flog it, he'll be throwing in a free bale of towels. The finishing looks like it was done by a 3 year old with a Crayola...

The video is a fun watch, but not even a bit sold. Ten days of power reserve doesn't really sound like a positive advertisement at all!
You can spend few hundreds on a Casio to get nearly unlimited battery, orders of magnitude better accuracy, digital compass, barometer, and a look that's at least as attractive if not better.

You'll want to get the scoop and a video on the heist in Beverley Hills that went down today 3/4/21 with an attempt at stealing a what was described as a $500,000 Richard Mille watch.

I'd go for IWC for that money, all day. This Oris is impressive though.
