Normaly İchigo shouldn't even stand a change againts Grimjow when he launches his last atack. But Grimmjow also couldn't stand a chance againts plot armour.

I can't stop feeling that they did this fight dirty with the setting. The atmosphere is so depressing with the soundtrack and Ichigo is mostly a sadboi during this whole clash while Grimmjow is having a blast. They could have amped this up a hella lot more and made this the real brawl that it was meant to be ever since Grimmjow handed Ichigo's ass to him in karakura town, but they contained it into depressed feels.

Usually Ichigo's battle will go like this: Ichigo initially takes advantage, villain doesn't hold back anymore, Ichigo is overwhelmed, uses strongest form to overwhelm opponent, villain unleashes strongest form , Ichigo is completely overwhelmed, no hope, has a new form, overwhelms the opponent
But this fight built different, that's why it's my favourite fight in Bleach
