I ran the Moonshine Scav case 10 times so YOU don't have to // Escape from Tarkov

I just clipped it the other night, I got a pistol case from 15 000 scav case

I only sell moonshine on the High around 280 so its clearly not worth it for me. From anectodes I built it but its a scam lol

A lot of items you get from the scav case can't be sold on the flea and when you compare buy prices from traders, you actually save money if you just use the guns and helmets (like the mutant). Plus the small chance to get marked room keys and keycards makes it all more worth it.

I craft my own but in-between I'll buy a moonshine and make it up during my next scav. I've gotten ledx returns this wipe which has paid it off

profit for actual sales no. but for instance i would use the mutant so that would be a gun i didnt spend 140k to get at the trader. alot of shit in the scavcase is usuable and stuff only traders buy is often twice the amount to buy from a trader then what you get so that would make scav case somewhat worth. then everything you get is FIR so it can be used for tasks.

and then again 10 runs is not that much for actual statistics so like 50 or 100 would be better but that would also take like 150 to 300hours depending on your fence rep. and now i also heard you talking about this in the video. maybe i should watch till the end before commenting xd

i always have the best luck with the 15k option. the payout isnt always the highest but it almost always creates a greater return

I used one moonshine for my first scav junk box and got a dorms marked key

The issue with this video is that the sample size is not large enough, a lot of the items you’ll get are going to always bring a loss but every once in a while you’ll get a case worth 1m+, but with a small sample size that data gets excluded.

Got a ledx on my 5th moonshine try earlier this wipe. Haven’t pulled shit since then lmfao

I am just gonna jump in and say that for me the best value out of the scav case are the random rare, but not too expensive items that you require for some of the harder quests, i was able to do colleagues part 3 this wipe and complete samples just because i got my ahfms and other stims out of the case which would normally take way longer to get.

I have been doing moonshines for 3 days and ALL of them did give me like 150k at least profit fr, Its just luck ig.
By the other side, intel has been shitting on my mouth all the wipe, 95k its usually worth and last wipe gave me a ledx and chek 15 and stuff like that

Last wipe insane loot, this wipe total trash factory for me.

Comtac4 are expensive because they give the best hearing radius (since this wipe, headsets modify your hearing distance)

comtac 4 now have the best hearing since update......so yeh price inflated, theres only 3-4 headsets worth using

For your profit and loss you should Colour code it. easier to understand at least for me. But then again the end results what were here for lol...

Its definitely worth it if you're crafting your own moonshine. Hoard all the sugar, alyonka and water filters from the start of wipe.

Ive got 3 tank batteries, multiple S tier guns, helmets, level 5 armour, the juice! Sure some are a complete disappointment, but overall I'd say I'm up a few million ruubs

I really just use the case to get guns i cant easily obtain from traders, things like rsass etc 🤷‍♂️ i view the loss as the cost of the gun.

10 times is an extremely low sample size... I'd suggest 100-250 minimum, which yes I know it is a lot, but it would also be a way better hook for tarkov viewers and bring in a broader audience.

Does ur scav rep affect the loot?

Moonshine was never profitable in 1st place. It was used for kappa items. This wipe moonshines prices are all overe the roof its at 260k .

Moonshine was pretty good last wipe. Just got mine going and have run 5 or so moonshine. Lost money most of the runs. Hard to say bc i think ur scav rating deterimines loot as well

Personally, I run the moonshine specifically for quest items and if it makes profit then its a nice bonus. Early wipe, trying to get a military battery in raid for the quest is a PAIN. I ran the moonshine scav probably 6 times before I got a military battery, and then 2 of the 3 runs after it I got 3 more batteries. This wipe, the 95,000 rouble run seems weaker than previous wipes so I have been doing intel scav hoping to get a clutch key. Intel is great for keys/weapons (RSASS for gunsmith).

Slickems what is you’re scav rank, no clue if it true but the higher the rank the better the loot. (1.50 and I get profit most of the time)

You should keep posting the data from ~10 runs but then you should go back and introduce a bigger sample size in a different set of videos after you go through all the options. I think the quality has been improving with each video, and even if the sample size is small it's still very helpful in showing what each category gets. keep it up man 👍🏽
