ОтветитьI appreciate from this class the intelligent sequencing , not so much the fitness aspect. Her sequence doesn’t accommodate all types of body shapes nor she offers any modifications, she only teaches according to her body “feels”. She hyper extends , look all her elbows and says if you are flexible it will take you to go further in the pose to feel stretching.. going into hyper extension on joints is not flexibility it becomes high risk for injury . Again she’s only thinking for herself , unless you are trying to emulate her than this class is for you .

ОтветитьOh my God, I hate this class so much :))) My intermediate skill and doing Yoga 5x/week for 2 years is not sufficient to follow this. Lots of rest and very slow speed. Maybe I come back to this class in a year.
ОтветитьI like her energy and fun approach. But, she is clearly a dancer and the class moves WAY too quickly. Which makes it unsatisfying, each pose does not get the time it deserves. Shame.

ОтветитьIm sorry guys, ui see lots of dangerous poses for your chest are and lower back as well. Be careful and don’t forget to pull your stomack to the spine so your lower back will be protected. Also, in plank pose the weight is distributed equally in your body - the legs are pushing (!) an imaginary wall behind you and your hands are pushing the floor. That’s how you will struggle less - holding a straight body line by your legs and hands as well, simple math with weight and balance. Good luck!

ОтветитьThe class and sequence were a phenomenal class. But, compared to the typical quality of Alo classes, I felt really disappointed in the cueing and production. The music was scratchy and too loud.
I felt Ashley should've stuck to cueing and teaching instead of trying to show us she could do the hardest version of each pose and getting distracted + commenting on herself - it really threw off the timing waiting for her to recover. If there were 2 other people doing the class live, show them instead? When it got hard, her cuing deteriorated, instead of "all the way to the top" maybe "all the way up to crescent", etc.
Ashley Galvin is a favorite for a reason! Love the effort, love the attitude. What Katie Holmes is to fashion Ashley is to yoga ❤ girl crush!
