I have not shot pool in 40 years ( high school) I won lots of nine ball games and some money shooting straight and rail shots with no shape. Had no internet you-tube., back in the day with expert advice. My game could have been much better.

When I try to use ANY left/right spin, I ALWAYS miss the object ball ! :( I do not know, where to aim.

Hi, is this a 9ft or 8ft table?

What I realized when redoing this exact setup at home. If your cue ball is slightly ending up at a different position - I am talking here about an inch or so - you need to apply a different strategy and English to get to the position of the next ball. I wish there would be a magic recipe that would teach you to see how the cue ball will run at different angles to the object ball and how to judge the trajectory depending on your angle to the cue ball.

For example, after the first shot I came up too close to the rail, making the angle to the 3 ball substantially thinner. I then have difficulties not to run into the 5 ball or controlling the speed to get to the 4 ball due to the thin cut.

Perhaps it's down to practice and feel at the end. There are so many variables in the game, but this video is the best to start thinking at an more advanced level.

It is particularly useful for intermediate players when you show different options and cue tips that you used for every single shot. One thing I would like you to add is that the aiming line on the rail or in the pocket where you actually aim to when you use spin and I think that would make this video perfect to me. Hi brother. Are you sure you couldn't finish the game with the 3 ball or after shooting the four ball with a draw? I am sure you didn't need to play all the balls in this specific set. I believe you also have to keep it at the top of your mind that in 9 ball you can win the game at any point teach the people that they have to understand that the objective of the game is to legally pot the 9 ball and if an opportunity presents itself take it but be sure you are in control should you miss the 9 ball you must ensure you are still on table for the next ball in sequence
