Can a YouTuber Ever Hit 1 Billion Subscribers?

Last 90 days on my main channel is

37% america
8% UK
6% India
5% Canada
4% Philippines

But that’s just the main channel. I get hundreds of millions of views a month on the dubbed channels outside America (their viewership is less then 5% American). Trust, I’ll hit a billion subscribers one day ;)

Mr beast is obviously gonna hit 1 billon before anyone else he has diffrent channels dedicatied to different languages

Do you ever wonder how many Subscribers all channels have combined? Probably like One Trillion Combined.

Language barriers are majorly mentioned in this vid, but I honestly don't think that will be a problem by the 2060s or indeed around 2050 IMO.

Have a think about what technology can do now with regards to this, compared to say the mid-90s, which is the same leap backwards. You would need a person as a translator to accompany you everywhere just for one specific language back then. Whereas now just the world's biggest translate app alone can read foreign text and convert it to your chosen language on your smartphone screen wherever you go and with only a slight delay translate your speech into any language you choose for a foreign listener and vice versa.

Now imagine the same kind of leap forward from where we are now. It's not unfeasible that YT will have an AI built into it's platform that can not only translate all language in the vid into that of the listener, but will even be able to do so whilst analysing and keeping the voice of the original content creator to do so.

In some ways it sounds far fetched, but speaking from my past as a 1990s teenager (as I turned 18 in 1995) standing in a foreign country clutching a phrase book, most at that time would have thought Google Translate was the stuff of science fiction? So believe me, the reckoning that tech will obliterate this issue in 25 years time say is not far-fetched in the slightest. Language will cease to matter regarding YT growth in a couple of decades, possibly before.

Over the last year Mrbeast has gained ~65 million subscribers. Assuming he keeps that momentum, without increasing or decreasing in speed, he’ll hit 1 billion in roughly 12-15 years

You should make an update for Mr. Beast since his channel can be watched in tons of languages now and he is on pace to pass T Series in 2024.

Thanks for the advice. I started putting subtitles in Ahmaric and Arabic which covers the North Africa and the horn of Africa to attract more viewers from the region.

You can't hit 1 Billion subscribers with an english speaking channel. Most of the 8 billions of human (Where there is the most population density) don't speak english at all (Asia, Middle-East, Russia, Africa, South America, ...). It also doesn't mean than an Indian or Asian channel can reach 1 billion subscribers for the same reason (People who speak russian, portugeuse, spannish, ... don't speak chinese or indian).

The only way will be to make videos without speaking content. But .... What do you write as a title ? A different title for every speaking language in the world ?

T-Series' growth rate has slowed down by 50-60% since mid 2020, so I don't believe if they can even hit 400M subscribers. 1B is unreal... I think even Mr Beast is more likely to reach this milestone, because his content has more chance to become popular in countries like Nigeria or DRC, that are growing extremely quickly in terms of demography. If internet becomes common in Subsuharian Africa (especially in 'demographic bombs' like Nigeria, Cameroon, DRC etc.) english-speaking channels will overtake indian channels in subscriber growth.

Mr Beast 100% deserves the top spot but I seriously don't think that it'll be as easy as shown in this video to beat T-Series . I am a big fan of MrBeast but T-Series' rapid rise of subscribers looks scary
