And yes, if the gap is really actually closed with Intel for that (mono cores..), and even quicker for all the rest(already largely superior and way enough for home encodings) !)... damn yes... You’re making big assumptions over one benchmark “leak.” The product isn’t even out yet and won’t be for at least 2 weeks and we’re already comparing it with no other sources of proof? Like stfu. This is basically unsubstantiated clickbait with the “crushes 10900k”

The value would still make sense if they did a $30-$50 bump on all the upper tiers of processors, but I hope that the monopoly is temporary and we don't see an end to the age of ever-more-ludicrously-powerful sub $150 R3's.

My 3600x is great but i wanted a 8 core. I glad cause ima leapfrog my friends with 5800x.
