but: Scotland is depending on the barrels from the USA en Spain! what if both countries won't sell those barrels any longer? Scotland has not enough oaktrees and besides, the quality is not good for making good whisky.....in fact: Scotland is borrowing her taste from other cultures like bourbon en sherry....

The most thing that i still dont understand is alcohol . I can get sugar bc its sweet and delicious or salty things like chips . But alcohol yeah i still dont get why people like it esp since its very harmful to the liver

Islay peated, smoky scotch. Very good stuff. Something special about a single malt that has compliments of the earthy tones and tannins found in the process of creating a solid and enjoyable experience for the drinker. I really appreciate the oaky and woody flavors that carry campfire-like tones, seaweed taste and iodine in the back to add more flavor to the palate.

My brother collects scotch. He poured me a few glasses of his favorites, which I only finished because I wanted to be drunk enough to tolerate my family for the holidays. Scotch is like drinking an ongoing lumberyard fire. In the future, I'll stick to well made whiskey. Why pay $200 for something that hurts when you drink it and makes you smell like a bog fire? I could pay $25 for a bottle of Irish, Canadian, or American whiskey, and have it actually taste good.

A profession where you actually HAVE to drink on the job, why didn’t I think of that? 😂
