Awesome
ОтветитьWatching this video because when I deal with protecting one area of my base, another issue springs up all the way across the map. It's almost like I'm trying to repair a paper castle in the rain without an umbrella.
ОтветитьAre you still crafting the circuits to this day?
Ответитьi used to play with tank but switched to travelling with car and then setting up a turret outpost nearby the enemy base and then hunt all the nests and spitters with normal rockets and lure the biters to the turrets. with tank i always find myself hitting an unseen rock middle of the enemy base and getting caught=D
ОтветитьCan't you just make boxes close to the place you are dismantling?
ОтветитьWhy not use defender bots for biter cleanup?
15+ bots and things just vanish.
I've been really enjoying the series. This one was a bit messy. I kind of got lost and just ended up doing my own thing. I found it much more efficient to clear the old base myself rather than using the robots to do it. I look forward to the rest of the series!
ОтветитьHe automates stone furnaces, tanks, and combinators but not wooden power poles? Filter chest set to wood + 2 assemblers.
ОтветитьNilaus : Issues massive deconstruction command
Robots : Ha shit, here we go again
I've noticed you've been tanking the spitter projectiles when engaging nests. You may have noticed how they predict your path when firing. Well, they can't predict your path ( or, at least, not so easily ) if you're turning. If you want to prolong the use of tanks in nest busting, you may want to try weaving in and out of range of the nests, outright ignoring the spitters.
This little strategy is currently carrying me through enemy bases twice the size of those in this video and I seldomly take more than 20% damage on a base. I'm still a new player, myself, so I'm not sure how long it will last me, though.
I'm fairly new at this, on my 2nd base now but problem is I left biters for a while and let my defenses kill them off but now evolution is at 0.73 so I've now gone round cleared many areas away from the pollution area I have. Now I'm worried my turrets etc. wont be enough for when they get harder/evolve even more. I think from now on I'm going to make sure there is big enough space between the pollution and biters nests, took me hours to clear out a lot of nests while sticking down radars with solar etc. lesson learnt for next time and just make sure nests are taken care of instead of taking the odd attacks with my defenses. I've also left a few turrets in the nest areas to prevent them taking those spots again.
Ответитьgood idea to turn off pollution when trying to see resource patches, there is a 2M uranium patch ryt inside your base
ОтветитьI heard that he is still crafting copper wire many hours later.
ОтветитьWe need a MasterClass for robots,
how they prioritize stuff, what is a good number to have, good designs for robots...
logistic robots might be a separate video (trash slots, requests...)
you could use a power switch to disconnect your steam power aslong as accumulators are full, instead of turning of the water pumps od, so it doenst have to wait for water when it turns back on , steampower doenst use steam when disconnected (no consumer)
ОтветитьI'm always impressed how i never notice the transition between the intro and the actual content of the video. Good job :)
ОтветитьYou keep saying "it's a logistics chest and not a storage chest", but the object's name is literally "Storage chest". I would suggest "dumb", "normal", "iron/steel" chest to reduce confusion.
ОтветитьIs there anything you can do to stop these bots in the comment section?
ОтветитьWhy don't you use a power switch for the steam power? That switches a lot quicker...
ОтветитьNo! No! Stop the hand crafting!! Darn it he's right, there is nothing I can do to stop him cries
Ответить@Nilaus you're using a mod for the tank to not take damage when chopping trees? my tank always got damaged then colision on everything
ОтветитьI feel like the next Episode is going ti be SUPER Satisfying!Seeing the whole base upgrading will be very cool.
Ответитьout of all videos bots comment on a factorio video???
Ответитьthis game are awesome with almost infinite map ^^
ОтветитьI've learned a lot of useful tricks since I started watching. Thanks for the videos, can't wait for more!
