I’m pretty sure I damaged my skin barrier. I tend to have a problem with drinking for days on end. The result is horrible. My skin flakes, burns, and turns really red. Some times I can’t even sleep. I get these little pimples all over my face that kind of look like rosecae type 2. It’s so embarrassing. I even get hives. I know it’s my fault but I don’t even want to look in the mirror. When this happens I try to avoid washing my face for a while bc it makes it worse. I hope I can figure this out and won’t make the same mistakes again.

I need help please. I’ve always had clear skin but I had oily skin so I tried to dry out my oiliness with a harsh cleanser and that ended up stripping my face badly. My face is oily but feels tight and I started getting lots of acne. I switched to the Cerave hydrating cleanser and the vanicream daily facial moisturizer for 6 months already and my skin has not improved. I need help please
