What i used to do in our local casinos is go inside get a cup of espresso and a coke and put 2$ in the slot machine drink my coffee have my coke light some smokes and kill 20 minutes some days i ended up with 50$

I think you are right on this one, I thin that the streamers who do it but don't need the money should consider the negative effects it could have on some individuals. I would argue it's probably less than 1 in 5000 who do that though but when you have 50,000+ people on multiple streams I'd be very supprised if it hadn't happened atleast a few times.

So many people start watching these streams either because they are genuinely interested or curious and then end up wanting to gamble watching someone win some money doing it, or some people can also come to make fun of the person at first etc, but it's an addiction, it can very quickly get to your head. Do you really think the companies would pay millions for streamers to gamble online if they were not sure it was increasing the number of people who gamble?

And your "boys", who are accepting the gold from gambling companies, are horrible human beings and should be ashamed. And for you to say that they do nothing wrong, is sick. Yeah, sure another person can take the role of this streamer, but guess what, if everyone refuses to take the money from these companies, they will stop offering it.

I put £20 on my poker site a month and £20 on my sports betting account a month.. When I lose the £20 on each that's me done for the month. There are Deposit limits for a reason.

I agree with Asmon on this topic with regards to Twitch.. only thing that should be allowed on Twitch is Poker all other Gamba should be banned for the obvious reasons.

The thing with gambling and casinos is you can do it in a way that's OK. I've never gambled myself or been to a casino but I watched a video explaining how they're meant to be used and it makes since. If you go into a casino with a set amount of money with the intention of having some fun for the night and not expecting to come out with any profit then it's ok. It's the same as ppl going out for a movie and dinner, or going to a place like Dave and Busters to spend money on a Go-Kart and arcade place. You take a budget of a couple hundred-1000 depending on your disposable income, and you come away with nothing but a good time. Some ppl do this with casinos. They bring a few hundred dollars they budgeted for entertainment and have fun playing the games. Apparently the games themselves are fun for some ppl. And the food in big casinos is apparently really good and cheap as they are intended to keep you stay inside as long as possible. But those ppl use it as a form of entertainment like I would riding Go-Karts or playing in an arcade or even seeing a movie. Most times they come away with $0 left and they're ok with that, they had fun, and sometimes they come away with some or even more than they brought if they're lucky, some will just spend all their winnings as they just enjoy the games themselves. When it becomes a problem is ppl going in expecting to win money and come away with more than they brought, or they brought in what they couldn't afford to lose. And then there's addicts that lose everything. Bur casinos aren't inherently bad and if used as just a form of entertainment with a set budget then they're fine. I also believe they're regulated to the point there has to be certain odds so ppl have at least an on chance of winning some money back here and there, plus if nobody won anything nobody would go to start with. Apparently there's a way to do it and almost always come away with 60-80% of what you came in with as long as you stick to the initial budget and don't spend winnings as well. It's spending the winnings that puts you down to $0 and the regulated odds swings fully in the casinos favor.

My favorite is when the streamers try to say " I lose a lot of money too" and act like they arnt making any money. Yet they're sitting in a multi milli9n dollar home. Drive super cars. They literally move to Canada to do this. So they move to Canada to lose all their money? They gamble with house money. I would go as far as to say they probably gamble on a simulation and they armt even using real crypto.

I agree that gambling streams shouldn’t be on twitch, but I also think just calling anyone who gambles after watching one of said streams is unhelpful. In Ludwig’s video on gambling streams from a while back, he talked about how good or bad experience, it’s really easy for those with the addiction or are prone to addiction to fall into it. Even if the issue is twitch enabling this to begin with, calling the victims dumb is not helpful.

Casinos are set up using the probability of winning against people that go in.

Every game in a casino gives a less than 50% chance to win to the customer so sometimes they make money but they will almost always lose money, Slots are some of the worst to play.

Black jack and Poker are the two games people can consistently come out on top. Thats why casinos have rules to prevent people from winning. Good card counters have a roughly 51%+ winrate which means playing long enough they will make money. they will still sometimes lose money and thats why casinos try and kick them out before they play too long.
