Here's an extra for Number 9 regarding raised printing.

The next generation 10 FRN (2026) will feature a raised printed shape for the visually impaired.
This was announced Q2 2023, haven't heard anything since.

You can see the evidence of magnetic ink by scanning the bill in a typical copy machine. This was a shock when scanning my collection in order to add the images to my website.

Another great video!

Thanks for using my video idea! I hope it's useful for the random person who gets this video recommended and learns something new about the security features on their currency.

If you have a sufficiently strong neodymium magnet, you can gently lift a dollar bill by the portrait or any other place which has a lot of black ink. I haven't tried it with vintage currency, but any modern denomination suffices.

Great video. You definitely cleared up something I was pondering about and spoke incorrectly about. Thanks for the clarity...

Nice video! I really wish that our currency had transparent windows with embedded holograms like other banknotes. If our country prints the world's reserve currency, which all other countries trust for international trade and as a store of value, we really ought to take the responsibility of printing secure banknotes much more seriously.

There are yellow numbers on the reverse also, you just kind of need a loupe to see them. At least for an old dude like me. Nice review. 👍
