Always funny to see all the "experts" comments disputing & critiquing everything the vets do. Since all you guys in the peanut gallery are such animal experts, go get your own vet practice & try to get your own TV shows. Good luck.

I personally have experienced a double dislocated jaw which prevented me opening my mouth. When it first happened i couldn’t get a mcdonalds chip through the opening, so yeah very limited. Everything hurt. Talking, eating and sleeping all sucked but merely breathing was really bad too. It lasted weeks and was torture. I even had to have a specialist physio do jaw stretching exercises on me and literally yank my jaw back to normal over about 14 weeks. Not fun.

I cannot imagine living like that for years. This poor cat was probably in so much pain and then put on top of that the infection in the teeth. OUCH! Im so glad she has improved so much

Love seeing other pet owners notice the littlest thing and taking their pets in.. I've taken my pets in for a change in behavior and it's saved my cats life. My dog did ALL the tests and there was nothing wrong but it made me feel better to know he was ok.

I wonder if they give the rescues some sort of discount. Vet services can be quite expensive and actually that’s why you see so many dumped animals because they can’t afford treatment. Our dog costing us 12k the care for her to remove a tumor that ended up with her losing her lung

I live in the states and recently lost my babygirl she was nine years old and was rushed into emergency surgery but unfortunately her heart gave out. But i have been watching bondi vet for awhile but one thing that is not talked about much is money? My dog blue had bloat the surgery cost was $4,389.00 dollars and had to be paid upfront or no surgery and that is the lowest price the highest price topped out at $9,000. Not only was it a weekend but also a holiday. In the show i see so many do so much testing and keeping them overnight. So i guess my question is are the prices in the USA crazy. Because i will always wonder if I didn't have to call around to emergency hospital checking prices would she have made it

I love Dr. Kate's personality and spirit. I also believe she is right in communicating with her patients. Such a loving example for others. She always is reassuring to her patient, and when she takes them from their owners she reassures them while petting or cuddling them that she is going to make them feel better and tells them that they are loved. I also care for Dr. Scot who is also like Dr. Kate, tactile and super with his cuddles and talks with his patients too. Dr. Kate is a perfect Golden's Mom. I hope Ben is still with us. My Lab, I had to make that awful decision. I held him and thanked him for 15 years of Love, Loyalty, Trust and his protection of Family, Home and our other beloved pets, a Cat, a Silver Poodle and Horses. Miss you still Irish...

I am truly happy for these animals and the doctors are doing an amazing job.
But every now and then I can't help but think, that some of these animals get better health care than some humans - and that it's not right. If the same effort was put into every humans quality of life, even within first world countries like the U.S. (not beginning to talk about developing countries), the world would truly be a better place.

I really hope there's someone who's like Liz in my Country. Stray cats are everywhere here. For the Goldie's owner, i know her feelings because me too will be so concern if my Beagle puppy doesn't eat her breakfast. Those two breeds are food lover and looking happy all the time - even when they're sick 🥲

My cat especially as a kitten loved his food and kitten milk. So when he went off his food, sprained his leg from zoomies in the night, we knew something was wrong. When you know your pet you know if something is wrong.

Same with our old boy, kept leaving biscuits from his meal and we didn't know he had receding gums so had most of his teeth out. No other signs but him leaving food we knew something was going on. Now has 3 teeth but eats similar to my young boy.

When you know no matter what tips you off you know you gotta get to the vet

It’s pretty irritating that Dr. Adams claims that it’s not necessarily a bad thing if a dog skip meals but that especially goldens tend to skip meals if they’re sick. This is probably just worded poorly but if your dog stops eating, see a vet, no matter the breed!
