Yacc (Yet Another Compiler Compiler) takes a language grammar and turns out a parser for that language. Ancient Unix utility, dating back to 1975.

ОтветитьJust checked the source code and everything with "YACC" in this repo are actually just mislabeled JSON files used by GameMaker.

ОтветитьI was going to ask what makes it better than Tiled editor. But the world map feature is game changer for me. I've always thought it was limiting not thinking in terms of "endless world" for map designing. Also JSON format is awesome. I don't recall all the features of Tiled but when I used it back in the day, parsing the levels was tedius.
