These adoptive parents should have spoken to their doctor to get themselves some counseling, help and respite maybe. A child with attachment disorder is going to need a lot more attention and love in order to feel safe. If put into an 8x8 room with a bucket, no control of lights or locks it makes sense his condition would get worse. That would be torture and abuse in my opinion.

Why are people constantly going on about the boy being adopted and their other children being 'biological? Ok we get it already!!!

I don't care what disorder or behavioural problems your child has, such treatment of a child, adopted or not, is horrifying. They were treating this poor boy like this for years. I hope they spend at least as many years in prison, finding out what being confined in a box and treated like dirt is for themselves.

Parents who never experienced having a troubled child couldn't possibly comprehend the anger, frustration, disappointment, shame, and helplessness, hopelessness, bitterness, anxiety these parents felt. I feel bad for all involved. The kid sounds like a budding serial killer. I wish tge parents put him in a mental institution. Presently, the powers put this kid in a room with nothing inside. Im watching this after watching the whole trial of the dad. Closing statements were today. Defense is blaming the child but never produced one single audio or video of such bad behavior. The defense exaggerated his behavior making it seem like he was a danger but its not the truth.
